Sayın Üyemiz,
İstanbul Maden ve Metaller İhracatçı Birlikleri Genel Sekreterliği’nden alınan bir
yazıda, Toronto’da yerleşik gayrimenkul yatırım ve yönetim şirketi Starlight Investments Ltd.
Şirketinin her yılfarklı bir ülkede yaptığı şirket toplantısını 26-28 Mayıs 2014 tarihlerinde
İstanbul’da gerçekleştirileceği bilgisinin alındığı bildirilmektedir.
Yazıda devamla, halen 27.000 apartman dairesi ve 200.000 metrekare civarında ticari
binanın da dahil olduğu 3,5 milyar dolarlık bir varlığı yöneten ve bu varlıklar için yıllık
yaklaşık 100 milyon dolarlık bir yenileme bütçesine sahip olan firmayla, firmaya bina tadilat
ve yenileme hizmetleri veren Zgemi Inc. Firması aracılığıyla temasa geçildiği, alınan bilgiye
göre firmanın gerek yeni emlak yatırımlarının gerekse yönetimi altındaki emlakın tadilat ve
yenileme işlerini yaptırırken sadece kendi belirlediği ve onay verdiği ürünlerin kullanımına
izin verdiği, bu nedenle firmanın İstanbul’daki toplantısının, Kanada pazarına inşaat
malzemeleri ihracatımıza katkı sağlayacak bir fırsat olarak değerlendirildiği belirtilmektedir.
Bu çerçevede, ekte listesi yer alan ürünlerden rekabet üsütünlüğü açısından öne çıkan
önemli kalemlere odaklaklanılarak firma üst düzey yöneticileriyle inşaat malzemesi
tedarikçilerimiz arasında 24 Mayıs 2014 tarihinde İMMİB Genel Sekreterliği’nde ikili iş
görüşmeleri organizasyonu düzenlenmesi planlanmaktadır.
Bu kapsamda söz konusu ikili iş görüşmeleri organizasyonuna katılmak isteyen

gerekmektedir.
