OPTI · FLOR
The grower history of the Hendriks family goes back in time nearly 100 years. The family business, founded in 1928, has a long tradition
with the growing and cultivation of natural products. Optimum quality is the main pursuit and we aim to raise the bar a little higher each day,
creativity plays a major role in this. Innovative types of phalaenopsis and creations are continuously being sought after, it is in our genes, we
don’t say Creating Orchids for a reason.

Creative perfection is what we strive for on a daily base. We travel the world in search of unusual species. We have many varieites of phalaenopsis
in our nursery. Only after extensive testing in the areas of cultivation, quality and shelf life, this is how we determine whether a species is included
in the Opti-flor range. This process can sometimes take up to three years. If you take a walk through the Opti-flor Research & Development
greenhouse it will make you marvel at the many flower colours, the special shapes and the natural class that exudes from the phalaenopsis.
Our intention is, with the proper care and much attention will ensure that the phalaenopsis grows into an Opti-flor phalaenopsis.

OPTI M UM QUALI TY
Opti-flor has not gotten its quality image without reason. Our staff work seven days a week to control the climate and make adjustments
during the production process. Light, temperature, water and food are organised in such a way that the plant can develop in the most
favourable conditions. A phalaenopsis cutting plant is about 25 weeks old when it arrives in the Opti-flor greenhouses. It stays there for
more than a year (this is different by species) before leaving the greenhouses in top condition. The Opti-flor growing process is on average
longer than those of other growers. Moreover, the plant gets more space to develop. All these factors combined make the Opti-flor product
an Extraordinary Quality Phalaenopsis.

The Opti-flor Formidablo is, as its name states, an extraordinary apparition. Large flowers appear perfectly and are geometrically positioned
beside and below each other. The characteristic slanting line full of flowers was invented in Japan. Through time, love and attention Opti-flor
has completely mastered this style and is a trendsetter in the Netherlands with this. The result is astonishing and the quality excellent.
