ABOUT BURSA
T
he c ty of Bursa s located on southeast of the Marmara Sea. Bursa l es on the lower
slopes of the Uludag Mounta n (Mt.Olympos of Mys a, 2543 H gh).Its prev ous ant que
name was Pruss a ad Hyp um. It subsequently came under Roman Byzant ne rule before
fall ng to Orhan Gaz n 1299. Afterwards the c ty became the rst cap tal of the Ottoman
Emp re and st ll many Ottoman bu ld ngs rema n. Known as Green Bursa, the c ty s lled
w th gardens and parks and overlooks a verdant pla n. Bursa s become dent cal w th
