Uluslararası Göç Örgütü (IOM) olarak, Amerika, İngiltere, Kanada veya Avustralya’ya
gerçekleştirilecek seyahatlerinde sağlık sorunu olan mültecilere seyahat süresince olası tıbbi ve
harici sorunlarda yardımcı olacak ve kendilerine varış noktasına kadar eşlik edecek hemşire
eskortlar arıyoruz.
Aranan özellikler;

Yolculuk esnasında meydana gelebilecek medikal veya harici sorunlarda müdahalede
bulunmak,
-
Türkiye’de geçerli hemşirelik diplomasına sahip olmak,
-
En az 3 yıl klinik deneyimi,
-
Geçerli Amerika, İngiltere, Kanada, Schengen veya Avustralya vizesi bulunmak,
-
İyi derecede ingilizce bilmek,
-
İki ayda bir en az bir kez olmak üzere seyahat edebilmek,
-
Arapça bilmek ve hastanelerin kardiyoloji, göğüs hastalıkları, pediyatri veya acil
bölümlerinde çalışmış olmak avantaj sayılacaktır.
Bahsi geçen iş part-time olup, yaklaşık 3-4 iş gününü kapsamaktadır. Hemşire, mülteciyle
beraber yukarıda bahsedilen ülkelere seyahat edip, varış noktasında 1-2 gün konakladıktan
sonra tekrar Türkiye’ye geri dönecektir. Türkiye’nin her yerinden ilgilenen bay/bayan
hemşirelerin başvuruları kabul edilir.

IOM is looking for NURSES will act as medical escort for refugees with medical conditions for the
duration of their travel to final destinations in the US, Australia, Canada and other countries.
The job details are:

Provide all necessary medical care and support of designated beneficiaries(s) -

patients during the journey and accompany these persons to an agreed handover
-
point;
-
Identify themselves to airline staff on check-in and again on boarding the carrier;

Extend general in-flight and on-the-ground support to passengers travelling under
the auspices of IOM as circumstances require;

Ensure that designated patients are handed over to a responsible entity overseas
and that unescorted onward travel connections are completely understood by the
passenger, accompanying family members or continuing non-medical escorts, and
partner agencies;

Accommodate any changes in routing or schedule imposed by the carrier;

Comply with standard IOM requirements for duty travel and entitlements;

Assume other duties as assigned, which may include meetings or briefing of national
health or quarantine officials on arrival, the purchase of goods or equipment at the
destination, or assisting in the shipping or return of such equipment;

Complete and submit the Escort Movement Report to the IOM Mission and the
relevant MHD Unit involved within one week after the completion of duty;

Return the IOM medical escort bag once duty is complete, with notation of
all medications or supplies used during the journey.
Requirements:

Nursery Degree in with a valid licence to practice nursery in Turkey.
At least 3 years of working experience
Through knowledge of Emergency Medicine. Distant advantage to Emergency Room
nurses, nurses working at pulmonology, cardiology and pediatric medicine including
mental health departments/wards.
Fluency in oral and written English
Possession of a valid visa for one of those: USA, UK, Canada, Schengen or Australia
Ability to travel at least once in every two months
Knowledge of Arabic is a strong advantage
Willingness and ability to provide non-medical assistance.
Gender sensitivity and respect for cultural diversity.
Additional information:

All candidates from all over Turkey are welcomed to apply. (the additional travel costs
between peripheral city and Istanbul will be covered by IOM as well as USA travel costs)
This is a part-time duty/job that approximately take 3-4 days for the medical escort to
travel with the refugees that in need of medical assistance during their travel to USA.
