Knitting Technique Used: KNIT STITCH, CHAIN,
SINGLE CROCHET
1. It is chained 70 cm with crochet hook. It is
chained 50 again and it is inserted single crochet
into the beginning of 70 chains. 2. In this way it
is completed 72 pcs of 50-chain tassels. 3. In the
other row, the first 3 chains are taken back to the
second 3 chains, ensuring the formation of a cross
like a cable and these crosses are fixed working
1 single crochet and 1 chain. 7 crosses are prepared
longitudinally on the same cross. 4. It is left 2
crosses inbetween and it is prepared 7 crosses
longitudinally in the same way. It is left 2 crosses inbetween and 4 longitidunal crosses are
completed. 5. 3 chains remaining inbetween replace with others to make cross and it
inserted needle and knitted with 25 stitches.First 2 stitches are worked in knit stitch; it is
increased wrapping 1; other stitches are knitted; it is increased wrapping 1 before last 2
stitches and it is knitted 2 to complete the work. 6. After each 9 decreases, it inserted to the
joining point of the long crosses and knitted together. In this way it is knitted as long as the
long crosses. 7. It is applied tassel chaining 50 again around the hemline of the poncho.
8. The neck part is completed crocheting 7 rows of single crochet. In every row, it is decreased
in every 15-20 single crochets.
