Bay Bridge deck slabs

areket has been awarded the contract to
transport İzmit Bay Bridge deck slabs. The
deck slabs are in joined form and will be
carried to worksite from Çimtaş Shipyard in
Gölcük. The deck slabs are 36x50x6 meters in
size and weigh 660 tons. The transportation phase will be
carried out by 2x10 axle side by side SPMT (PST/SL-E) and
two units of PPU power packs. The forwarding operation
has already started in October 2015 and targeted to be
completed by February 2016.

hareket brought the cold box
to the installation site. The unit
was then installed with particular
attachments which took 5 days to complete. Once
this process was over the total length of the cold
box reached 63,5 meters. The installation process
was carried out by two cranes owned by hareket.
A 750 ton Liebherr LG 1750 mobile crane and a
600 ton Demag CC 2800-1 crawler crane were
involved in the operation. The main crane was a
Demag CC 2800-1 crawler crane having an 84-meter
main boom with a 200-ton superlift weight was
accompanied by a Liebherr LG 1750 mobile crane
with a 42-meter main boom acting as the secondary
crane of the operation. The total installation process
was completed in 8 hours.
areket completed the installation of a heat exchanger 25 meters in length and 5 meters in diameter.
The unit weighing 200 tons was assembled with the help of a 600 ton Demag CC 2800-1 model crawler
crane and a 350 ton Liebherr LTM 1350 mobile crane. Demag CC 2800-1 with its 52 meters main boom
and 50-ton superlift weight was used as the main crane during the operation. Liebherr LTM 1350, on
the other hand, was the secondary crane. The installation operation was completed in a total of 4 hours.

Turkey. The company lately completed a
transportation project involving a 240 ton
and 59,5-meter long cold box which was
shipped from abroad to Samsun Port. hareket moved
the entire unit to Eti Bakır Plant worksite in Tekkeköy. The
massive sized cold box was transported in a total of 7 hours
at a speed of 5 km per hour. A 6x4 Volvo tow truck (186
wheels) and a hydraulic trailer with 22 axles were used to complete the 14 km journey. The cold box was lifted from the shipping
vessel with the help of a hareket owned 750 ton Liebherr LG 1750 model mobile crane and a 600 ton Demag CC 2800-1 crawler
crane. With the addition of tow truck length, the total length of the cold box reached 75 meters which was originally 59,5 meters. As
part of the project two other units of vacuum tanks were also transported to Eti Bakır A.Ş. worksite. One of the tanks was 44 meters
in length and 140 tons in weight while the other one was 37 meters in length with a total weight of 120 tons. Two different types
of hydraulic trailers were used for the operation with the first one having 22 axles (176+10= 186 wheels) and the second one 20
axles (160+10=170 wheels).

The first national windpower plant project bears the mark of Hareket
h
areket has always been part of major schemes when it comes to windpower plant installation projects in Turkey. So far the company has concluded its part of the first
national windpower plant project Milres which is a joint effort between Sabancı University and The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey. Transportation and
installation process of the project was carried out in Istanbul Arnavutköy Durusu region. Nacelle equipment pieces were brought from Ankara, Bursa and Eskişehir to Istanbul
Esenler and were assembled accordingly. Towers were carried on 4, 5 and 8 axle hydraulic trailers and wings were transported on 5 axle trailers. Nacelle and Hub units were
assembled and transported on trailers as single piece units. hareket’s team of experts were used to complete the whole assembly procedure, and the result was a success.

Bares project transportation and
assembly phases are completed

areket completed transportation and assembly phases for the Bares
windpower plant project in Balıkesir. Two sets of 3 pieces of N100/R75 3,3 MW
Delta and 2 pieces of N100/R100 3,3 MW Delta model turbine tower equipment
were transported from abroad while three sets of the same were transported
from Çimtaş firm. Wing, nacelle, drive train and hub units were shipped from
abroad to Çanakkale Kepez Port and were later transported to the worksite. hareket used
a 600 ton Demag CC 2800-1 crane as the main one along with a 120 ton Liebherr LTM 1120
and a 200 ton Demag AC 200 mobile cranes acting as secondary cranes. The work started in
October 2015 and was finalized on 14 December 2015.
areket has taken the responsibility to transport and install 19 pieces
of 2.4 MW N117/R91 Gamma type wind turbines for Kayseri Kurtkayası windpower plant project. Towers will be transported from Gemlik
Çimtaş and the wings from İzmir TPI firm. Nacelle, hub, and drive train units are to be transported from Mersin Taşucu Port. 8 Extended
axle low beds will be operational for tower
transportation while 5 axle extended low beds
will be used to transport the wing units. Tower
installation process will involve the use of a 600
ton Demag CC 2800-1 NT crawler crane as the
main crane. A 160 ton Demag AC 160-2, and
an 80 ton Liebherr LTM 1080 mobile crane will
be acting as secondary cranes. Another mobile crane of 75-ton capacity will also be busy
in the process. The project started in October
2015 and was targeted to be completed in May
2016. Electrical and mechanical installations will
also be done by hareket’s experienced team
of experts.

hareket transports
power transformers from Iraq

areket has transformed a power transformer from Erbil in Iraq
to Balıkesir Turkey. The transformeer unit was 10x3,2x4,60 in size
with a weight of 143 tons. It was transported from Erbil to Iskenderun on a 16 axle hydraulic trailer. The unit was lifted onto the
vessel by a gantry crane at Iskenderun Port. Arriving at Izmir Alsancak Port, the unit was lifted off the vessel by a 600-ton mobile crane and
was later transported to Balıkesir plant on a 16 axle hydraulic trailer.

model 180 ton Sany SCC 1800
crawler crane to its fleet. The
crane has an 85-meter long
main boom, a fly boom of 52
meters and a jib boom in 31
meters of length. Sany crane
marks the 16th crawler crane
in the fleet and the total number of cranes has now reached 60 units.
