Automatic Energy Saving Damper type SBAS
The SBAS energy saving damper is used within wood and metal working industries
as a closing damper in exhaust systems for automatic shut off when work operations
or process machines are stopped or idling.

consumption significantly. In fact – installation of
dampers is a must as first step in energy saving
projects.
The airflow will also be reduced to the actually
required level and the load on central main
components as filters, heat exchangers, fans etc.

reduce maintenance costs.
Experience has shown that SBAS dampers are
extremely energy saving and thanks to a more
efficient utilization of the air volume, they often
make extension of existing filter plants
unnecessary.
Description
The energy saving damper type SBAS is an
automatic blast gate driven by double acting
compressed air cylinders. Max temp. 75°C.
The energy saving damper is made of galvanized
steel sheet and equipped with a specially built
gasket device, which ensures low friction and
optimal tightness.
The damper is electronically activated.
ATEX
If the damper is installed and connected correctly
according to manual, the damper has no ignition
source and can therefore be used for all types of
interior ATEX-zones.
If to be installed within ATEX-zones, the electrical
components must be marked according to the
relevant zone.
Ordering
At ordering, please specify the diameter and the
power supply. In connection with installation
within ATEX-zones – specify the installation
zone (always special item).
