Burak Peri
Y. Mimar • M.A Architect
Ortadoğu Teknik Üniversitesi Mimarlık Fakültesinden
1998 yılında mezun oldu. Aynı fakültede Yüksek Lisans
eğitimini tamamlayan Peri, özellikle mimarlık tarihi
ve erken Cumhuriyet konularında çeşitli akademik
çalışmalar yaptı.
Çeşitli firmalarda hem mimar hem de yönetici olarak
görev yapan Peri, son olarak Rönesans İnşaat’ta
Proje Direktörü olarak Gaziantep, Adana, Malatya ve
İzmir Alışveriş Merkezi projelerinin geliştirilmesi ve
gerçekleştirilmesinde yer almıştır.
Türkiye’nin dışında Ürdün, Gana,
Türkmenistan, Irak, Rusya, Nijerya, Kazakistan ve Libya’da da çeşitli projeleri bulunmaktadır.
Burak Peri graduated from the Middle East Technical
University Faculty of Archtitecture at 1988. Completing
his masters degree on the same faculty, Peri has done
academic studies especially on the history of archtitecture and early Republic. Working in various firms as
an architect and as a manager, Peri has lately worked
as Project Director at Renaissance Construction on developing and building the projects at Gaziantep, Adana,
Malatya and İzmir Shopping Malls. Outside of Turkey,
he has various projects at Jordan, Ghana, Turkmenistan, Iraq, Nigeria, Russia and Libya.

2010 yılında başlanan proje 2014 yılında
Alışveriş Merkezinin açılışı ile tamamlanacaktır. Alışveriş Merkezi proje sürecine önce Ofis
binaları ve Katlı Otopark Binası daha sonra ise
5 Yıldızlı bir otel eklenmiştir. Otel Mimari ve iç
mimari çizimleri ile konsept çalışması, işletmeci
Rotana grubunun standartlarına uygun olarak
tasarlanmıştır.
This Project has started in 2010 and will be
completed with the opening of the shopping
mall in 2014. Started as a shopping mall,
firstly an office building, later a five star hotel
block was added to the project. The
architecture and interior design of the five
star hotel was designed according to the
needs of Ronata group

Rusya’nın en modern şehirlerinden olan
Kaliningrad’da 2015 yılında açılması planlanan 5
yıldızlı otel projesini Tavros Firması için
gerçekleştirdik 15.000 m2 alan üzerinde
planlanan otel 158 odanın 129’u deluxe, 22 club
oda, 4’ü diplomatik suit, 2’si king suit, 1’i
presidential suit olarak düşünülmüştür. Ayrıca
10 toplantı salonu, 2 restaurant, 650m2 balı
salonu, 2000m2 sağlık merkezi, açık ve kapalı
yüzme havuzu ve açık tenis kortları bulunmaktadır.
Göl kenarında oval şekilde dönerek gökyüzüne
uzanan yapı adeta bir kent simgesi olacaktır.
Doğaya ve iklime adapte olmuş bir duuruş
sergilemektedir.
We designed this five star hotel in kaliningrand
which is one of the modern city of Russia,
for tavros investment holding and planned to
open at 2015. The hotel area is 15.000 m2
and will operate with 158 hotel rooms; 129
deluxe rooms, 22 club rooms, 4 diplomatic
suits, 2 king suits and 1 presidential suit. Also
10 meeting halls, 2 restaurants, 650 m2 ball
hall partible into 3 options, 200 m2 Health
Club with indoor and outdoor swimming pools
and outdoor tennis courts. Laying besides the
pool, oval shaped building is curling to reach
out the sky. It looks that it will be alandmark
for the city. It look it is adapted to the nature
and to the climate.

Proje genelinde ki çoklu fonksiyonların olmasından
dolayı farklı yapılardan meydana gelen modern bir
mimari yaklaşımla tasarlanmıştır.
Mekânsal kalitenin ve verimliliğin ön planda tutulduğu
bu projede, Alışveriş Merkezinin yanında 5 Yıldızlı Otel
ve Ofis Bloklarıyla bütünleşen bir yapı mevcuttur.
Karma kullanımların bir bütün olarak ele alınmasıyla bu
projenin kent için bir odak noktası olması sağlanmıştır.
Projenin inşaatına 2014 yılında başlanılması
planlanmaktadır.
The design was executed by planning
different buildings in modern way in this
Mix-use project. A shopping mall, a five star
hotel and an office tower were integrated
in this project where the efficiency and
the quality of the space are afflicted in the
forefront. By this mix- use project, we
provided this project’s being the focal point
of the urban fabric. Construction was
planned to start in 2014.

en iyi örneklerden biridir.
Ana kararların birçoğu B. PERİ’nin proje
direktörü olarak çalışmış olduğu
Rönasans İnşaatta hayata geçirilmiştir.
The aim of this project is trying to
create a door to the urban fabric,
and the maximization of rentable
areas. This project is one of the
best examples of how a slum district
of the city can be changed by the
investment of the private sector. The
main decisions were implemented by
B. PERİ while working -as the project
director- in Renaissance Construction
Company.

kullanılan bu yapı, 3 farklı konsept
projeden seçilerek hazırlanmıştır.
Projede, otel kısmında 185 tip oda ve
10 adet suit oda bulunurken, rezidans
kısmında 4 adet presidentical suit, 4
adet penthouse ve 30 adet apartman
dairesi bulunmaktadır.
This building is used both as a hotel
and a residence. It is chosen from
three different concept projects. In
the hotel part there are 185 typical
rooms and 10 suit rooms; in the
residence part there are 4
presidentical suits, 4 penthouses and
30 apartments included.

main characteristics of this design.
The private parts of this residence
are arranged around a courtyard.
With the precise corners and the

Bu projenin ismi, tasarımda ki “Elips”
ışıklığın vurgulanmasından kaynaklanmaktadır. Elipsoid sirkülasyon alanlarında
oluşturulan günlük kullanım dükkanları
hem konut kulesinde yaşayanla, hem de
yakın çevrede yaşayanlara hizmet
etmektedir. Konut kulesinde; “tipik”
apartman tasarımı daha modern ve yeni
çizgide olabilecek şekilde geliştirilmiştir.
The name of this project was inspired
from the “Ellipse” skylight that dominates
the design. Its elliptical circulation areas
surrounded by convenient shops serve as
local market for the residences, and also
for the neighborhood. At the residence
tower, the design of the “typical” apartments is improved to achieve a fresh and

Bitişik evler, cephe süslemeleri olmadan sade ve
kübik şekilde tasarlanmıştır. Bodrum’a has bu
düzendeki beyaz cepheli evler, temel işlevleri ve
ilişkileri nedeniyle yerellikten uzaklaşarak evrensel
bir tasarım anlayışına uzanabilmektedir. Bu
konutlar her ne kadar, Bodrum için tasarlanmış
olsalar da güvenlikli yüksek duvarlar ve özel
bahçelerle tüm Ortadoğu ülkelerinde kullanılabilir
ve Ortadoğunun içe dönük yaşam tarzına kolaylıkla
adapte edilebilir
The houses are designed as in cubic forms without
any facade ornamentation. White painted and simple
facade houses of Bodrum, instead of national style,
reach to the international style with its basic functions
and relations. Although these houses were designed for
Bodrum, with little alteration, they can be used in any
Middle-East countries with their private gardens and
high security walls and can easily adopted to the
inverted life style of Middle East.

Hastane mekân ilişkileri, temel
geometrik formlar ile çözülmüş ve
farklı malzemeler kullanılarak detaylandırılmıştır. Hasta yatak odalarının
güneye dönmelerinin sebebi ise
güneşin pozitif etkilerinden yararlanmaktır. Estetik kriterlerin yanında,
Hastanenin iyi çalışması bu projenin
hedefi olmuş ve bu da serbest, kolay
ve binayı bağlayan dolaşım alanlarıyla
sağlanmıştır.
The space program of hospital was
solved by the basic geometric forms
and it is articulated with the use of
different materials. The orientation
of Hospital Wards to the south is
because of maximizing the positive
effect of sun. Beside the esthetical
criteria, the ability to work well in
this hospital is at the target of this
design and achieved by the free and
easy circulation that connects the
whole building.

Bu hastane yapısında, tek başına duran,
sanki hastaları kucaklayacak şekilde
kollarını açmış eğrisel bir form seçilmiştir.
İki uçta bulunan “Heybetli kapılar” hem
girişleri tanımlamakta hem de eğrisel
formları bitirmektedir.
A stand-alone circular form, like arms hugging the patients, is chosen for the Hospital. The giant “doors” at the two ends of
this design, are also defines the entrance
of the building and also gives an end to the
circular forms.

Tüm temel hastane işlevlerinin yanına

Merkezi de projeye eklenmiştir.
Mevcut su seviyesinin çok yüksekte
olması nedeniyle bodrum katın
olmadığı bir yapı tasarlanmış ve bu
sebeple Zemin katta yaygın bir
şekilde tasarlanmıştır. Diğer bir
taraftan ise, Damla formunda hasta
yatak katları düşey bir hareket ve
narin bir görünüş vermektedir.
With the basic needs of hospital, a
10 unit dentistry center was added to
the design. Because of the height of
the water level in the site, the
basement was not designed. That
results a heavy and wide ground
floor, spread all the area on the site.
On the other hand, the “tear drop”
form of Hospital Wards gives an
elegant look and vertical movement
to the project.

Mersin Anamur’un, bulunduğu yer
itibariyle hiçbir tıbbi aktivite herhangi
başka yakın bir şehre taşınamamaktadır. Bu sebepten ötürü, inşaat
devam ederken hastanenin hizmet
vermesi istenmektedir ki bu da
projenin en büyük zorluğu olan
inşaatın etaplı yapılmasına yol
açmıştır. Arsa üzerinde “en iyi kullanım” analizi yapılarak bu etaplama
tamamlanmıştır. Projenin temellerinin
yapımına 2014 yılında başlanacaktır.
Mersin Anamur is situated in such a
place that no medical activities can be
transported to any other near cities.
So Hospital services must be going on
while construction takes place. This
resulted in stages in the construction
period which is the biggest problem in
this project. So the “best use analysis”
was done in order to achieve stages
of construction. The foundation will be
started to construct in 2014.

Simetrik tasarımın haşmetli görüntüsü, basit renkli cephesi, bina ismiyle
taçlandırılmış sağır cephesi ile bu
bina Maviperi’nin tasarladığı ilk Ağız
ve Diş Sağlığı Merkezidir. 2012’de
tasralanan klinik 2014 sonunda hizmete girecektir.
Urfa Karakopru project, with its symmetrical design, colossal look, simple
colored facade, with its blind walls,
(throned by the name of the building) was the first Oral and Dentistry
Building designed by Maviperi, dated
2012. It will be opened at the end of
2014.

Eğrisel formlardan biri Ağız ve Diş
Sağlığı diğeri ise İl Sağlık Müdürlüğü ofisleri olarak çözümlenmiştir.
Bu benzer iki form birbirinden farklı
fonksiyonlara ve plan çözümlerine sahiptirler ve çelik kanopi ile birbirlerine
bağlanmıştır. Kanopi, binalar önünde
oluşan Meydanın “Kentsel alan sınırlayıcısı” etkisi yaratmıştır.
The circular forms were solved in a
way that, one is an oral and dentistry
building, and the other one is offices
for the city Health Administration.
These two similar forms contain two
different plans and functions. These
buildings were connected with a steel
canopy that gives an effect of “Urban
Closure” to the Plaza in front of these
buildings

Maviperi Mimarlık’ın tasarladığı ilk sağlık
yapısı Seyranbağları Huzurevidir. Huzurevi tasarlamak dört yıldızlı bir otel ile hastaneyi tek
bir projede birleştirmek gibidir. Bu birleştirmeyi öyle iyi bir şekilde yapılmıştır ki devlete
ait huzurevileri için örnek bir model olmuştur. Projede kullanılan Andezit ve Limra taş
kaplamalar ve Kompozit paneller cepheye
Modern bir çizgi katılmıştır. Projede tasarlanan galeri boşlukları ve çağdaş tip odalardaki
tasarımlar neticesinde Emekli devlet memurları için “Protkol Huzurevi” olarak hizmet
edecektir.
Seyranbağları Senior House is the first “Health building” designed by Maviperi. Designing a senior house is like uniting a four star
Hotel and a Hospital in a single project. This
project succeeded this unification in such
a good way that, this project was used as
the model for the other senior houses that
belongs to Turkish state. By using stone
covering such as “Andezit” and white sandstone, and composite panels’ give facade
a modern and contemporary look. With the
galleries and the contemporary guest room
design, this building will serve as “protocol”
senior house for the state retired person.

projesi her ne kadar Türk- Osmanlı motifleri ihtiva etse de, bu bina
çağdaş ve ferah bir tasarımın örneğini oluşturmaktadır. Projede ki Türk
motifleri hem binayı taşımakta hem
de çağdaş ve modern bir şekilde
Türk tarihinin izlerini yansıtmaktadır.
Türk Motifleri sadece cephede dekor
olarak kullanılmamış, aynı zamanda
eğrisel çelik strüktürde ve köprünün
ana taşıyıcı iskeleti olarak da kullanılmıştır.
In Bilecik high speed train station;
although the design consists of
motives from the Turkish- Ottoman
History, the building is an example of
modern and fresh design. The “Turkish motives” used in the project
both carry the building and also
reflects the sense of Turkish history
but in a modern and contemporary
way. These “Turkish patterns” were
not only used in two dimensional
decorations at the facade, but also
they were used as the basic elements
of circulinear steel roof structure
and the main skeleton for the bridge
itself.

Sınırlı bir tasarım yarışması sonucu, projemizin gerçekleştriilmesi kararlaştırılmıştır.
Ana giriş binasında Tübitak’ın bilim ile bağı
“sonsuzluk” işaretiyle sembolize edilmiştir.
“Bilimin; bilginin sonsuz kaynağı” olduğu
düşüncesinden yola çıkarak TÜBİTAK ana
giriş binası bu düşünce ile ve cagdas cephe
malzemerlinden titanium cephe panellerinin
entegre edilmesi ile oluşturulmuştur. Ana
giriş tasarımı, aynı zamanda TÜBİTAK
Gebze’nin güvenlik sebebiyle geliştirdiği yeni
toplu taşıma çözümleri ile de
birleştirilmiştir.
After a limited design competition, our
project was chosen to be constructed. At the
main gate, the connection of science and
Tubitak (Science and Space research center
of Turkey) was symbolized as the symbol
of “eternity”. The idea of “Science is the
eternal source of knowledge” is integrated
to the main gate of Gebze TUBITAK with
its contemporary titanium panels at the
façade. The gate is also combined with the
new solution to the mass transportation of
the Tubitak settlement because of security
reasons.

Erbil’de bulunan bu ofis binası,
çevresindeki yapılarla kıyaslandığında
çağın çok ötesinde bir yere sahiptir.
Yatay ve dar bir arsada bulunan bina,
sırtını diğer yapılara dönmüştür.
Projenin mimari ve iç mimari tasarımı
da firmamız tarafından
gerçekleştirilmiştir.
Al-Shemalco Holding Building: This
office building in Erbil, while
compared to the neighbor buildings,
is quite far beyond the age. The land
is horizontally laying and narrow,
the building returns its back to the
others. The architectural and interior
design of this building is performed
by our firm.

Formun binayı şekillendirdiği bu
yapıda iki adet silindir ortak bir çatı
ile bütünleştirilmiştir. Titanyum çatı
ve cephe panelleri ile bezenmiş olan
bu yapıda Anıtlar kurulundan da onay
alınmıştır.
Two cylinder masses became a united whole under the same roof where
the form shaped this building. The
building is plastered with titanium
roof and façade panels by taking the
legal opinion of the council of monuments.

Bu futuristik kule tasarımında “
savunma “ kavramı metaforik olarak ele
alınmıştır. Barışı simgeleyen güvercinin
kanadı ile gücün göstergesi olan kılıcın
birleşimi ile oluşan bir tasarım yaklaşımı
uygulanmıştır.
In the design of this futuristic tower,
the “defense” concept is approached
metaphorically the pigeons wing
which symbolizes the power united in
this region.

Bab - Tripoli projesinin tanıtım ofisi için yapılmış olan bu projenin tasarımı B. PERİ’nin
Rönesans İnşaat’ta Proje Direktörü olarak
çalıştığı dönemde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Binanın tüm elemanları çelik olarak tasarlanmış
ve tüm imalatları Türkiye’de yapılmıştır.
Bina Rönesans çalışma ofisi olmasının
yanında Bab-Tripoli projesinin tanım ofisi
olarak da çalışmıştır. Savaş sonrası durumunun ne olduğunu bilmememize rağmen
savaş öncesi defalarca aynı binadan farklı
amaçlarda sipariş verilmek istenmesi doğru
bir proje geliştirdiğimizi ortaya koymaktadır.
The realization of this project is at the
period of B. PERİ’s career in the Renaissance Construction firm, this project was
designed for Bab-Tripoli project’s promotion office. All the construction elements of
the building are designed as steel and the
manufacturing is performed in Turkey.
The building is both the labor office of
renaissance firm and the promotion office
of bab-tripoli project. In spite we knew
about the status after the war, many times
before the war, we were asked for the
same project of our building for different
purposes, so this shows that we had put
out the correct project.

Bu proje zor ve eğimli bir tepe
yamacına, Zonguldak kayalıklarının
üzerinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. İki yönden
eğimli olan arsada öğretim görevlileri
odaları dışa bakacak şekilde
yerleştirilmiştir ve cephedeki eğrisel
form binanın algısını ve girişini
vurgulamaktadır.
The realization of the project is on
inclined hill slope of Zonguldak’s rocky
area. The land is sloppy from both sides
and the lecturer rooms are placed to
look outside. The curvilinear form of the
façade highlights the perception of the
building and its entrance.

Bu spor salonu ilköğretim ve lise eğitimi veren
bir koleje aittir. Arsa sıkıntısı ve zemindeki su
problemi nedeniyle tek bodrum ile çözülmeye
çalışılan projede, yarı olimpik ölçülerde bir
yüzme havuzu ve 500 seyirci kapasiteli
basketbol salonu bulunmaktadır. Cephede
ve çatıda titanyum panellerin kullanılması ile
tasarlanan proje 2014 yılında
gerçekleştirilecektir.
This gymnasium belongs to a collage where
there is a primary school and a high school.
Because of the land and the ground water
problems in the area, the project had the
opportunity of having only one basement
floor. The gym also has semi-Olympic
swimming pool and a basketball hall having
capacity for 500 people. The design of the
project has titanium panels both on the roof
and on the façade and will start at 2014.

Aquapark, heyecan yaratan bir projedir.
Tasarımda, su kaydırağının verimliliği
için zorunlu olan yüksekliğin özel bir
form ile çözülmesi gerekliliği
karşımıza çıkan en önemli zorluk
olmuştur. Havuzların yerleşimi, su
kaydırağının konumlanması iç mekân
düzeninden de görüldüğü gibi tam bir
bütünlük içindedir.
An Aquapark project in Russia
–because of the extremely cold
weather-is very much demanded.
While designing an Aquapark, at the
main thing is solving the high form of
the water slide by a proper form. The
settling of the swimming pools, water
slides, the building itself are designed
in integrity. The project stayed in
design phase but the main idea is
passed to another swimming pool
project.

At this project besides the
semi-Olympic swimming pool and
necessary tribunes, there are fitness
hall, spa, sauna, massage hall
which make the building a
full-fledged health center.

Lobinin hemen yanında yer alan
mevcut restaurant ön cephe hizasında büyütülerek oturma kapasitesi
artırılmıştır. Otel yönetiminin istek ve
ihtiyaçları doğrultusunda açık büfe-dolaşım ve oturma alanlarının yerleşimi
yeniden düzenlenmiştir. Eklektik tarz
modern çizgilerle yorumlanmış,yüksek
tavan sarkıt aydınlatmayla dengelenmiş, renk uyumu da sağlanarak dingin
bir ambians yakalanmıştır.
The seating capacity of the existing
restaurant is extended by enlarging
towards the front façade. By the
needs and requests of the hotel
management the open buffet area,
the circulation area and the seating
arrangement is put in order. The eclectic style is interpretted by modern
lines,the high ceiling is balanced by
hanging lights and the harmony of
colours helped us to catch a peacefull
ambiance.

kampüs tasarlanmıştır. Bu süreç
TÜBİTAK İnşaat Dairesindeki
yetkililerle uzun toplantılar ve fikir
alışverişleri doğrultusunda
ilerlemiştir. Yapılan ar-ge çalışmaları
ışığında mimari ve çevre tasarımında
modern bir yaklaşım ön görülmüştür.
Tasarımdaki çizgisellik ve geometri
bir bütün olarak ele alınmış ve
malzemelerle de vurgulanmıştır.
In the line of the needs of TUBITAK
environmentalist, sustainable and a
modern campus is designed. During
the process, long lasting meetings
and idea exchanges are hold with
TUBITAK authorized employees. In
the light of the R&D work, the
architectural and environmental
design modern approach advised.
The linearity and geometry in the
design is hold as a whole and this is
emphasized by the used materials.
