AYGUN TUĞAY Painter
He was granted a postgraduate dıploma from Istanbul State Academy of Fıne Arts.
He conducted theatre performance decors ın varıous state and prıvate theatres. He
desıgned and applıed faır stand decoratıons, staıned-copper panel applıcatıons, graphıcs,
cartoons, and comıcs.
He was rewarded ın total 7 awards, one of whıch ıs ınternatıonal.
In 1973 he was appoınted as an assıstant at the Istanbul State Academy of Fıne Arts. In
1978 he gaıned profıcency ın arts degree and ın 1981 he became an associate professor.
Since 1989 he worked as a professor at the unıversıty from whıch he retıred ın 2005. He
worked as an academıcıan for 33 years.
He realızed hıs fırst ındıvıdual exhıbıtıon ın November 2011 by exhıbıtıng 70 paıntıngs ın
“Osman Hamdı Bey” Hall placed at the unıversıty.
Hıs second ındıvıdual exhıbıtıon took place ın Alaçatı Kırmızı Ardıç Kuşu II Art Gallery ın
July 2012. “Artıst 2012” ıs hıs thırd ındıvıdual exhıbıtıon.
He ıs currently workıng as a professor at Yetıdepe Unıversıty, teachıng “Drawıng from a
model” course and contınuıng ın hıs art work creatıons.

Born in 1969 in Athens, Greece.
Studied Art in the School of Fine Arts, Aristoteleion University of Thessaloniki, Greece.
Studied the art of iconography and conservation of Byzantine icons under the supervision of
iconographer-painter Constantinos Georgopoulos. Attended a series of workshops on
mosaic art. Taught History of Art and Creative Drawing in a private college in Athens,
Greece.
Many paintings are found in private collections.
I. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
1994 – 2002 Construction of sets for theatrical performances in collaboration with sculptor
Dimitri Vafeiadis, for performances in the National Opera of Greece, the REX theatre and
other theatres.
Tutoring candidates for the Greek School of Fine Arts placement exams.
1997-1999 Conservation of the pictorial and sculptural decoration of the Athens Observatory
in collaboration with the painter Constantinos Georgopoulos.
1997 Group exhibition of graduate students in the School of Fine Arts, Aristoteleion
University of Thessaloniki, Greece.
1998 – 2003 Conservation and restoration of neoclassical buildings owned by the Ministry of
Culture ( ICOMOS, C. Psaropoulos Foundation, Plaka ).
2000 Group exhibition of painting and photography " HARLEY DAVIDSON EMBRACING
ART" , Gallery of Contemporary Arts, Ileana Tounta, Athens, Greece
2004 – 2009 Conservation and restoration of private neoclassical residences in the centre of
Athens and other suburbs.

KÜRŞAT GÖKÇE 1963 painter
He graduated from TED Ankara High School in 1981
Pursued his medicine studies at Ankara University until 1987.
Following his medical degree, he completed his specialization in gynecology in 1993.
2016 Solo exhibition –Galeri Binyıl in may
His interest in charcoal drawings, dating back to his childhood, spread to other fine arts.
Following sculpture and stained glass artworks, he also composed and wrote the lyrics for
more than 30 songs.
As his life has always been closely linked to fine arts, painting started to have a special place
for him. Eventually, he started sharing his work during personal exhibitions, which he also
harmonized with his musical compositions.
According to Kürşat Fehmi Gökçe, as much as art is a part of life, it opens a door to
immortality by addressing the senses…
He believes that guiding towards
the sense of hearing by lyrics and music,
the sense of seeing and touching by sculpture,
and the soul by painting,
are the ideals that artists want to reach.
In his cubic, abstract and figurative artwork, he emphasizes women esthetics. Also by
depicting his paintings as puzzles, he creates freedom and excitement for his interpreters.
The artist’s work has been displayed in international and domestic exhibitions, and is being
followed by collectors and art specialists.

MEHTAP KURBANZADE sculpture
She was born in Istanbul.
Graduating from Nişantaşı Girls High School
Graduated from Istanbul University, Faculty of Science, Astronomy and Space Science
Department.
She studied interior architecture in Istasyon Art Academy. For three years she attended to art
history lessons and for four years she attended to sculpture lessons of art historian and
sculptor Arşo Kasparyans at her workshop.She acquainted with the art of glass. After
attending to Frantisek.
Janaks and Chad Hollidays klincasting lessons at Glass Furnace Foundation, she studied
fusion with Marc Ditzler and she participated to Vladimir Kleins technical cold glass shaping
workshops.
In the same period she took drawing lessons from painter Valerie Çelebi.
