Competition Rules and Technical Information
FILA Regulations which have been in force since 01 January 2005 and
the Black Sea Games Statute are valid in the Black Sea Games
Wrestling Competitions
According to the Black Sea Games Statute, wrestling competitions will
be played with at least the participation of 6 countries.
If any problem which is not mentioned here occurs shall be dealt with
as follows:
- Black Sea Games Statute shall be valid

For technical problems FILA Rules shall be valid.
4.1. Participation
All competitors must be of cadet age level, 15-16–17 years, born 1990 –
1991-1992. Cadet wrestlers who will be 15 years old in 2007 must present
a parental authorization and medical certificate justifying the reason for
wrestling in a higher age group and parental authorization.

Wrestlers are under the entire responsibility of their National Federations.
The age will be verified with individual passport. The age of participants is
determined according to the FILA regulations.
4.2. Competiton Rules
Competition System will be stipulated by FILA regulations.
4.3. Competition Management
Turkish Wrestling Federation, under the supervision of the FILA Technical
Delegate, is responsible for the technical organization and conduct of the
wrestling of the 1st Black Sea Games.
4.3.1. International Technical Delegate
Competitions will be conducted under the supervision of FILA Technical
Delegate.
4.3.2. Competition Technical Board
Turkish Wrestling Federation, under the supervision of the FILA Technical
Delegate, is responsible for the technical organization and conduct of the
wrestling of the 1st Black Sea Games.
4.4. Technical Information
4.4.1. Medical Examinations
Medical examinations shall take place in a specially designated room at
the Games Village, in presence of the FILA Technical Delegate and
according to the timetable indicated in the competition schedule.
4.4.2. Weigh-in
The weigh-in shall take place in a room designated specially at Games
Village, in the presence of the FILA Technical Delegate and according to
timetable indicated the competition schedule.
4.5. Drawing of Lots
Drawing of lots shall take place in order to determine the order of the
contests after official weigh-in for each discipline.

Drawing of lots shall take place under the supervision of the FILA
Technical Delegate and in the presence of the official representatives of
the participating teams during the Technical Meeting.
4.6. Competition System
Competition System shall be stipulated by FILA regulations.
4.7 Suits and Equipment
Contestants participating in the wrestling competition of the 1st Black Sea
Games must wear sports uniforms in accordance with FILA regulations.
Competitors will be in possession of:
-
two (2) wrestling singlet (red and blue )
two pairs of competition wrestling shoes, one (1) of which will be
used only on the wrestling mat.
5. Competition and Training Venues
The Wrestling competition of the 1st Black Sea Games will take place at
Yomra Sport
5.1. Competition
5.1.1 Competition Area
The competition area shall comprise two mats measuring 12 M X 12 M a
raised platform.
5.2 Training
5.2.1 Training venue
The wrestling training venue will be at Yomra Sports Hall.
Wrestling training mats with similar specifications competition mats shall
be installed there in addition to two weighing scales which are similar to
those used at the official weigh-in.
The training venue has separate changing rooms for boys and girls with
showers.

5.2.2 Training Session Allocation Procedures
Training Sessions are allocated by the competition management using
rotation system according to the number of teams of each country.
Further information on the training session will be given at Sports
Information Centre in Games Village and Wrestling Technical Office.
5.3 Mixed Zone and Press Conference Room
Accredited media will be authorized to interview competitors briefly in the
Mixed Zone on the completion of their events. Competitors must pass
through this zone to enter the competition area, and they shall be
required to cooperate in answering questions of the journalists.
On request of accredited journalist, the competition press manager shall
invite competitors or coaches to the Press Conference Room to answer
media questions.
6.
Composition of the Delegation
6.1. Composition of the Team
Wrestling Teams shall be composed as follows:

1 Equipment Carrier
20 boys and 10 girls (30 wrestlers)
6.2. Extra Delegates
Extra delegates are not allowed in the 1st Black Sea Games.
7.
Entries and Technical Meetings
7.1 Entries
Entries to the First Black Sea Games shall be done in four steps as
follows:
7.1.1. Pre - entries
First entry forms were received from the related countries on 19 January
2007.

7.1.2. Entries by number
Second entry forms will be received on 09 March 2007.
7.1.3. Entries by number and name ( Final entries )
In Final entry forms, the countries shall inform both their numbers and
names of the participants by 08 June 2007.
7.1.4. Entry confirmation
Entry confirmation shall be done during the technical meeting of each
sport.
7.2. Technical Meeting
The Technical Meeting will be held in the Games Village on 03 July 2007.
The exact time and venue of the meeting will be informed later.
Technical Meeting will be organized in accordance with FILA Regulations.

8.
Referees
Wrestling competition will be ruled by international referees.
Each participating country may propose two international referees to
officiate during the competition.
9.
Arbitration and Protests
FILA Regulations and Black Sea Games Statute are valid in the Black Sea
Games Wrestling Competitions.
10.
Anti-doping
During the Games, doping tests shall be carried out randomly. Moreover,
blood and EPO analysis shall be done.

11. Medical Services
Necessary medical services shall be supplied at the following venues
during the Games:
11.1. At the competition venues
11.2. At the training venues
11.3. At the Games Village
12.
Prize Ceremony
Medal ceremonies shall take place at the end of the competition.
The following prizes shall be awarded:
First prize:
A gold medal and diploma for each wrestler classified as winner in each
weight category, style and gender
Second prize:
A silver medal and diploma for each wrestler classified as second in each
weight category, style and gender.
Third Prize:
A bronze medal and diploma for each wrestler classified third in each
weight category, style and gender.
