MY EVS EXPERIENCE

Her insan dünyayı gezmeyi yahut bir kere de olsa yurtdışına çıkıp yeni yerler görmeyi aklından
geçirmiştir. Bu , kimileri için hayalden öteye geçemese de gelişen dünya ve imkanlar ile bunu hayata
geçirmek daha kolay hale gelmektedir. İşte ‘evs’ bu bu hayali gerçeğe dönüştürürken sadece farklı bir
yer görmeyi değil farklı bir kültürü her şeyiyle yakından tanımayı sağlayan bir program. Bu projeyi
duyduğumda üniversiteden yeni mezun olmuş stajını yapmakta olan mesleğinin başında bir avukat
adayıydım ve evet benim de bir gün farklı ülkeleri özellikle İtalya’yı gezme hayalim vardı. Çocuklarla
ilgili bir iş olması da avantajlıydı. Çünkü dilini bilmediğim bir ülkede onlarla birlikte yeni şeyler
öğrenmek daha kolaydı nitekim öyle de oldu. Böyle bir projenin bana mesleki açıdan bir şey
katmayacağını söyleyen birçok insan oldu. Şimdiye kadar bir şekilde suça bulaşmış ya da bir şekilde
mahkemeye düşmüş birçok insanla karşılaştım ve bundan sonra da karşılaşacağım. Ham maddesi
insan olan bir işin içindeyim ve bir insanı tanımanın en iyi ve sağlam yolu çocukluluğundan geçiyor
çoğu zaman. Bir insanı suça iten çoğu nedeni psikolojik geçmişinde ve çocuklukta yaşanılan
travmalarda bulmak mümkün. Bu nedenle bir çocuğun eğitimi çok hassas ,zor ve önemli.
İlgilendiğimiz çocuklar 2-4 yaşlarında olsalar bile neye kızıp neye sevindikleri ne için kızdıkları
birbirilerine karşı davranışları karakterlerinin oluşumunda bizlere önemli ipuçları veriyor. Tüm bunlar
bir araya geldiğinde İtalya , yeni bir dil,yeni bir kültür ve zor da olsa çocuklarla geçirilecek 3 ay
hayatıma katabileceğim bir sürü tecrübe demekti ve nitekim öyle de oldu. Bu sürede çocuklara
yaklaşım biçimi ve onların eğitimi noktasında iki ülke arasındaki benzerlik ve farklılıklara dair gözlem
yapma şansı bulduk. Tabii bu bir süreçti. Hem yeni ortama hem de çocuklara alışmak birlikte yürüyen
ve zaman isteyen bir durumdu. Nitekim onlarında bizi tanıması ve en azından aramızda bir güven
duygusu gelişmesi gerekliydi. Çocuklar istek ve tepkilerini dile getirmede daha rahat ve objektif
olduğu ve casa-officina farklı milletlerden çocukların bir arada bulundurduğu ve kendilerine has bir
yöntemleri olduğu için fazlaca şey gördüm ve öğrendim.Bu program hayatıma birçok şey kattı ve
Türkiye’ye döndüğümde anlatacağım ve hatırlayacağım bir sürü anım var.
Tutti pensano di viaggiare per il mondo o almeno di andare all’estero e visitare posti nuovi. Per
alcune persone questo è soltanto un sogno ma sviluppare opportunità rende più facile realizzarlo. Lo
SVE non solo trasforma il sogno in realtà, ma aiuta anche a conoscere molto bene una nuova cultura.
Quando sono venuta a conoscenza di questo progetto ero appena laureata e avevo fatto tirocinio
come avvocato. Avevo il sogno di viaggiare e visitare altri Paesi, specialmente l’Italia. Lavorare con i
bambini è stato un vantaggio per me perché è più facile imparare qualcosa con loro in un Paese in cui
non sai parlare la lingua.
Tante persone mi hanno detto che non avrai acquisito niente di utile per la mia professione
attraverso questo progetto SVE. Io sono un avvocato e il mio lavoro richiede di conoscere le persone
e la loro infanzia: questa parte di vita è cruciale per chiunque. Per questo motivo l’educazione di un
bambino è delicata, difficile e importante. I bambini di cui ci siamo presi cura hanno 2-4 anni: i motivi
per cui erano felici o arrabbiati, i loro comportamenti mi hanno dato numerosi segni sulle loro
personalità.
Vivere in Italia significa conoscere una nuova cultura e imparare una nuova lingua: passare 3 mesi
con i bambini può anche essere difficile, ma significa tanta esperienza per me. In questo periodo ho
avuto l’opportunità di osservare come gli educatori si comportano con i bambini e di notare
differenze educative tra due Paesi. Questa situazione necessita di tempo per ambientarsi, anche con i
nuovi bambini. Perché i bambini hanno bisogno di conoscerci e darci fiducia. Ho osservato che i
bambini alla Casa-Officina sono a loro agio e sono liberi di esprimere le loro emozioni, ho osservato i
comportamenti e le reazioni degli adulti secondo la metodologia adottata. Ho imparato tante cose.
Grazie a questo progetto ho acquisito tanto e, dopo il mio ritorno in Turchia, ho grandi ricordi da
conservare.
Everybody thinks of travelling around the world or at least going abroad and see new places. For
some people this is just a dream but developing opportunities makes it easier for us. EVS not only
makes this dream come true, but also helps you to get know a new culture very well.
When I heard about this project I was just graduated from school and a intern lawyer. I had a dream
about travelling and visiting other Countries, especially Italy. Working with children has been an
advantage for me because it is easier to learn something with them in a country where you cannot
speak the language.
A lot of people told me that I would not gain anything for my profession through this EVS project. I
am a lawyer and my job requires to know people and their childhood: this part of life is a very crucial
period for everybody. That is why education of a child is sensitive, difficult and important. The
children we took care of are 2-4 years old: the reasons why they are happy or why they are angry,
their behaviour give me important tips about their personalities.
Living in Italy means knowing a new culture and learning a new language: spending 3 months with
children can be also difficult, but it means a lot of experiences for me. In this period we have chance
to observe how educators behave with them and to notice education differences between two
countries. This situation needs time to get accustomed to the new environment, also with new kids.
Because children needed to get know us and trust us. I observed that children at Casa-Officina are
very comfortable and free to express their feelings, I observed the adults’ behaviours and reactions
according their own methods. I learned a lot of things. Thanks to this project I have gained a lot of
things and, after my return in Turkey, I have great memories to remember.
