SEPTEMBER 1993:
Mr Saffet Baspınarlı was only 21 years of age when
he started Baspınar Rent A Car Limited on 20th
September 1993 and at that time the office was
located in Lapta. He ran the company on his own
with only two cars; he delivered all the cars and
did all the tairport transfers himself with the occasional help of his father Mr. Celal Başpınarlı.
He had high hopes for the future, dreaming of a
large fleet of cars and a modern office with professional staff.
1996:
Mr. Saffet Başpınarlı attended his first World
Travel Marketing exhibition in Earls Court, London and has carried on attending the tourism exhibition every year since.
1998:
Gradually over the years Mr. Saffet Başpınarlı increased the number of cars in his fleet, by 1998
he had 18 cars and had taken on Mehmet, his first
member of staff, who works with him today.

Saffet Başpınarlı 20 Eylül 1993 tarihinde Başpınar
Araba Kiralama şirketini Lapta’da kurduğunda
sadece 21 yaşındaydı. Zaman Zaman babası Celal
Başpınarlı’dan aldığı yardımla ve sadece 2 arabayla, tüm teslimatları ve havaalanı transferlerini
kendisi yapıyordu. Gelecek için geniş araba filosu,
moden bir ofis ve profesyonel çalışanları içeren
büyük umutları vardı.
YIL 1996
Londra Earls Court’ta düzenlenen Dünya Seyahat
Pazarlama sergisine ilk kez katılan Saffet Başpınarlı o yıldan itibaren her yıl katılmaya devam etti.
YIL 1998
Yıllar içerisinde Saffet Başpınarlı araba filosunu
genişletti ve 1998’de faaliyette 18 arabası varken
ilk çalışanı olan ve hala bizimle çalışan Mehmet’i
işe aldı.
YIL 2000
Girne’de daha geniş bir ofise taşındığımız bu dönemde yine Girne’de kendimize ait garaj ve yıkama yerlerine sahip olmamızla birlikte yeni personeller işe alındı.

2000:
Mr. Saffet Başpınarlı took over garage premises in
Kyrenia and handed over the driving to his staff,
giving him the opportunity to build up the business
from the office. He employed two staff in the garage
to wash and service his vehicles and another in the
office to handle the bookings. It was also in 2000 that
he started to treat his staff to Christmas dinner at a
local restaurant, a tradition that he has continued
ever since..
2008:
Mr. Saffet Başpınarlı was appointed chairman for
Lapta Turk Sport Club and sponsored the team. He
continued to add to his fleet of cars and by the time
he moved to the current location for Baspinar Rent
A Car, a modern, spacious office in Catalkoy, he was
able to boast a total of 86 cars, thanks in part to ‘Cangar Motors’. He also employed three delivery men
and three bi-lingual female staff in the office.
2009:
In addition to returning customers, the number of
clients continued to increase thanks to the excellent
service and reliability of deliveries and transfers.
While the majority of customers was initially English, the number of Russian and European clients
has started to increase, making Mr. Saffet Başpınarlı
realise it was time to tap into the Russian market, so
he employed a Russian speaker in the office.
2010:
The fleet had grown and was now 104 cars strong,
with ‘Cangar Motors’ help, with four delivery men
and five women in the office. The office also benefitted from a much needed computer system.
This was also the year the company decided to share
its good fortune with its loyal customers and held its
first raffle.
Now Mr. Saffet Başpınarlı had realised his dream of
a large fleet of cars and a modern office with professional staff, booking all transfers and rentals on a
state of the art computer system, he had come a long
way from the21 year old boy with the big dreams.
Söz konusu yıldan sonra sadece iş takibine odaklanan
Saffet Başpınarlı bu yıldan itibaren her yıl personeli
ile birlikte yeni yıl balosu düzenlemeye başladı.
YIL 2008
Bu dönemde Saffet Başpınarlı, Lapta Türk Spor Kulübü’nün başkanıydı ve bütün takıma sponsorluk
yaparken aynı zamanda da araba filosunu genişletmekteydi. Bu zamana kadar şirketimiz Çatalköy’de
bulunan şu anki ferah ve modern ofisimize taşınmıştı
ve büyük bir gururla 86 arabalık bir filonun sahibiydi.
Bunu başarmamıza yardım eden ‘Çangar Motors’a da
teşekkür etmeliyiz. 2008 yılında şirketimizde 3 teslimat yapan çalışan ve ofiste 3 tane hem Türkçe hem
İngilizce konuşabilen bayan elemanımız vardı.
YIL 2009
Müşteri sayımızın oldukça arttığı bu yılda çoğunluğu
İngiliz ve Rus olan müşterilerimizin yanı sıra Avrupa
ülkelerinden birçok müşterimize servis sunup memnuniyetlerini kazanmayı başardık. Ayrıca Rus müşterilerimize daha iyi hizmet verebilmek amacıyla ekibimize Rusça konuşabilen bir üye kattık.
YIL 2010
Filo büyümeye devam etti ve Çangar Motors’un yardımıyla 104 güçlü arabaya sahipti. 4 teslimat adamı
garajda ve 5 bayan da ofiste çalışmaktaydı. Yine bu
dönemde o çok ihtiyacımız olan bilgisayar sistemimiz de kuruldu. Yine bu yıl, ilk kuramızı düzenleyerek
iyi şansımızı sadık müşterilerimizle paylaştık. Şimdi
Saffet Başpınarlı’nın hayalini kurduğu büyük arabası
filosu, modern ofisi, bütün transferleri ve kiralamaları
son teknoloji bilgisayar sistemiyle ayarlayan profesyonel çalışanları içeren hayalleri gerçek oldu ve 21
yaşında büyük hayalleri olan genç adamdan sonra
ne kadar yol katettiğini ve neler başardığının farkına
vardı.
YIL 2011
Bu yıl Kuzey Kıbrıs’taki ilk 5 dilli web sitesini kuran
Başpınar, en iyi Pazarlama İnternet Sitesi kategorisinde Property North Cyprus ödüllerine katıldı ve gururla Altın ödülü aldıklarını söyleyebilirler. Düzenli olarak bize geri dönen müşterilerimiz ve arkadaşlarımız
sayesinde Çocuk Köyü’ne de çocukların almaktan çok
mutlu oldukları birçok oyuncak ve kıyafet sağlayarak
cömert bir bağış yapabildik. Aynı zamanda Esentepe
Zerdali Festivali’ne de sponsorluk yaptık.
YIL 2012
Bu yılda Başpınar Rent A Car İngiltere’de kayıtlı tek
Türk şirketi olmuştur. Şirketimizi Birleşik Krallığa

2011: The start of the first five language website in
North Cyprus by Baspinar, taking the company to
the Property North Cyprus awards for best Marketing
Website, for which they proudly won the Gold award.
Thanks to all their many customers and friends returning on a regular basis, Baspinar Rent A Car were
able to give a generous donation to the Children’s
Village, supplying many toys and clothes, which the
children happily received. They also sponsored the
Esentepe Zerdali Festival.
2012:
Their busiest year to date, it saw the fleet increase to
164 cars, thanks again to ‘Cangar Motors’, and now
employing five men in the garage and six women in
the office, speaking Russian, English and Turkish.
It was in this year the company was registered in UK
and also the year they were able to sponsor several
events, helping to make the stay of their customers
in North Cyprus a little more entertaining. For their
Russian customers they sponsored a ‘Russian Night’
in May which was enjoyed enormously. In June they
sponsored the Mama Mia concert at the Girne Amphitheatre and in August and October, they were sponsors of ‘Stars of Bellapais’ and ‘Grease’ at the beautiful
Bellpais Abbey.
As well as sponsoring the concerts they paid for a full
set of trainers for a local ladies football team.
They also held a raffle in 2012 in which all customers
were entered to win various prizes including free car
hire and flights. This raffle was drawn on 31st December and the lucky winners can be found on their website. A video of the draw can also be seen there.
SEPTEMBER 2013:
Now celebrating their 20th Anniversary they hope
this will be their best year yet. Thanks again to Cangar
Motors, the fleet has increased to 200 cars, ensuring
all customers, old and new, can still rely on the best
rental company in North Cyprus for cars and airport
transfers.
Even though Mr. Saffet Başpınarlı has acheived what
he set out to do all those years ago, he continues to
ensure that all his customers are happy and that they
will hopefully return to Baspinar again and again.
Baspinar Rent A Car celebrated their 20th anniversary celebrations on 20th September.
Mr Saffet Baspinarli would like to thank all those who
have been with him from the beginning, who helped
the company grow and become what it is today. He
would also like to give a special thanks to his Mother,
Pembe Baspinarli and Father, Celal Baspinarli, who
have supported him throughout his journey.
On the 20th September 2013 Baspinar Rent a Car
was pleased to announce a merger with Happy Days
Travel, a UK based tour operator. They are now able to
offer flights and accommodation alongside hire cars
and airport transfers. Customers will now be able to
book their entire holiday package through Baspinar
Rent A Car.
kaydettirmemiz ve müşterilerimizin Kuzey Kıbrıs’da geçirdikleri zamanları daha eğlenceli hale
getirmek için farklı etkinliklere sponsor olmamız
da yine bu yıla denk geldi. Rus müşterilerimiz
için Mayıs ayında bir ‘Rus Gecesi’ organize ettik
ve herkes için harika bir geceydi. Haziran ayında
Girne Amfi-tiyatrosunda ‘Mama Mia’; Ağustos ve
Ekim aylarında arka planda Bellapais Manastırı’nın görüntüsüyle ‘Bellapais Yıldızları’ ve ‘Grease’ konserlerine de sponsorluk yaptık.
Ayrıca sponsorları olduğumuz kız futbol takımı
üzerlerinde logomuzun basılı olduğu üniformalarını maçlarında giymişlerdir. 2012’de de tüm müşterilerimiz için ücretsiz araba kiralama veya uçak
bileti de içeren çeşitli ödülleri kazanabilecekleri
bir kura organize ettik. 31 Aralık’ta çekilişi yapılan bu organizasyonda kazananların listesi ve
çekilişin videosu internet sitemizde mevcuttur.
2013 YILI EYLÜL
İşte şimdi 20. Yıldönümümüzdeyiz ve bu yılın en
iyi yılımız olmasını umut ediyoruz. Bu yıl yine
‘Çangar Motors’ yardımıyla araba filomuzu 200
arabaya artırarak hem yeni hem eski müşterilerimizin hem araba kiralama hem de havaalanı
transfer işleriyle ilgili Kuzey Kıbrıs’ın en iyi kiralama şirketine güvenebilmelerini amaçlıyoruz.
Her ne kadar Saffet Başpınarlı yıllar once oluşturduğu hedeflerine ulaşmış olsa da hala müşterilerinin memnuyetinden emin olmak için çalışıyor.
20 Eylül 2013’te gerçekleşecek olan 20. Yıl kutlamarımızı dört gözle bekliyor ve birçok arkadaşımızı Başpınar Takımıyla kutlama yapmak için
orada göreceğimizi umuyoruz.
Büyük bir memnuniyetle 20 Eylül 2013’te Başpınar Rent a Car şirketini, Birleşik Krallık kökenli
tur operatörü olan Happy Days Travel Şirketiyle
birleştirdiğimizi duyurmak isteriz. Bundan böyle
araba kiralama ve havaalanı tranferlerinin yanısıra uçak bileti ve konaklama hizmetlerine sunacağız. Müşterilerimiz bundan sonra tüm tatil paketlerini bizim aracılığımızla ayarlayabilecekler.
