Dear Colleagues,
I am very pleased to invite you to our symposium on “Novel Imaging Techniques
and Image-Guided Focal Therapy in Prostate Cancer” on behalf of the
Departments of Urology, Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging, Radiology
and Radiation Oncology of the Koc University School of Medicine.
This symposium is not only very timely on a subject which promises to dominate
the future of prostate cancer climate but will also help to underline the
importance of multidisciplinary team approach in this special area of
urooncology in an exemplary manner. Moreover, this area will undoubtedly only
move forward by the combined work of all interested specialties around the
common needs and not by isolated, subspecialty-blind and as such insufficient
efforts.
I would kindly ask you also to note that the invited clinician-scientists from
different countries are pioneers of the field and I am sure that your active
participation will help to create an exceptional atmosphere for discussion. We at
Koç University Hospital feel honored to host and welcome you to such an
