2. Composition/Information of Ingredients
General Composition
May compose of calsium sulphate, limestone, retarders, volumetric stabilizers and water retention
agents.
Aygips Perlitli Sıva Alçısı (Gypsum with Perlite) & Aygips Alçı Bazlı Makine Sıva (Machine Spray
Plaster): also contains expanded perlite.
Aygips Alçı Levha Derz Dolgu Alçısı (Plasterboard Filling Plaster) ve Aygips Alçı Plaka Yapıştırma
Alçısı (Plasterboard Adhesive Plaster): also contains various polymers.
3. Hazards Identification
Dust/powder may irritate the skin, eyes and respiratory system.
4. First Aid Measures
Inhalation
Remove person to fresh air.
Skin Contact
Using clean water rinse and then wash using soap & water
Eye Contact
Wash with clean water and seek medical advice if irritation occurs.

5. Fire Fighting Measures
All product range reaction to fire class is A1, though packaging may burn. All Standard fire
extinguishers are suitable, using normal fire fighting procedures. For reaction to fire classification
pls. see EN 13279 Gypsum Binders and Gypsum Plasters, EN 13963 Jointing Materials, EN 14496
Gypsum Based Adhesives
6. Accidental Release Measures
Prevent these products from contaminating drains, watercourses, ground or soil as a powder or
slurry. Accidentally released or spilled products must be collected.
7. Handling and Storage
When manual handling, consideration of the correct manual handling technique to limit risk
according to the below;
* Hold the load tightly,
* Hands, package of load and potholders should not be slippery,
* Keep the load close to the body
* Use your legs when lifting the load,
* Keep your back straight
* When lifting up the load, arms should be straight down.
Wear protective clothing when handling products and avoid prolonged contact with skin.
Products are supplied in buckets and bags and strapped or packed together in large packs for
forklift truck off loading. Stack in a safe and stable manner. Packs should be moved using a forklift
truck or hydraulic trolley, care should be taken to ensure that the machinery is safely capable
such movements and that the operator
is trained end competent. Bags should be stored in dry places and should not be stacked in more
than 20 layers. Direct contact with ground and moisture must be avoided.
8. Exposure Controls / Personal Protection
Occupational Exposure Limits
TLV: (as total dust containing no asbestos and <1 % crystalline silica) 10 mg/m_ as
TWA; (ACGIH 2004).
MAK: (as respirable fraction of the aerosol, without fibers) 6 mg/m_; (DFG 2004).
Personal Protection
Respiratory
Area should have adequate ventilation and dust extraction, if not a half face mask to EN 149
Class FFP1S should be used.
Eye
Safety goggles to EN 166 2A5 are recommended when dust is likely to occur.
Skin
Wear overalls and suitable clothing to avoid repeated skin contact.
Hands
To limit the effect wear protective gloves, a barrier cream can also be applied.

10. Stability and Reactivity
Stable and non reactive with other building materials.
11. Toxicological Effects
Inhalation of dust may cause short term irritation of the respiratory system. Prolonged contact
with skin may lead to dry skin. No significant reaction will be noticed if small amounts of product
are swallowed.
12. Ecological Information
Stable product with no known adverse effect.
13. Disposal Considerations
Authorized landfill site in accordance with local current Waste Management Licensing Regulations.
14. Transport Information
Not classified as hazardous for transport (pls. see ADR Documentation Appendix-A/Part 3).
