Cotizando en Bolsa (EURONEXT de Lisboa) desde Junio de 2007, Martifer (MAR PL; MAR.LS) es un grupo
industrial que cuenta actualmente con más de 3.000 colaboradores y está presente en más de 20 países. En
2011 su volumen de facturación ascendió a 550 millones de euros.
Martifer inició su actividad en 1990 en el sector de las estructuras metálicas, conquistando, en apenas 6 años,
el liderazgo del mercado nacional portugués. A partir de 1996 extendió su actividad a nuevas soluciones de
construcción, estructuras en acero inoxidable y aluminio, siempre basadas en la excelencia de su ingeniería.
Atento a las necesidades globales del mercado sobre nuevas soluciones, el Grupo inicia su actividad en el
sector de las energías renovables, inicialmente con la fabricación de torres eólicas, aprovechando el “saber
hacer” y las sinergias con el área de las estructuras metálicas.
En 2006 el Grupo extiende su actividad al área solar fotovoltaica, con el desarrollo de instalaciones EPC
(Ingeniería, Tramitación, Construcción), llave en mano y distribución de módulos fotovoltaicos.
Con dos áreas de negocio (Construcción Metálica y Energía Solar) y 15 unidades industriales en
funcionamiento en todo el mundo, Martifer es hoy un grupo multinacional, con más de 20 años de
experiencia construyendo con éxito.
Listed (EURONEXT LISBON) since June 2007, Martifer (MAR PL; MAR.LS) is an industrial group with more than 3,000
workers, present in more than 20 countries. In 2011 its operating revenue reached 550 million euros.
Martifer started its activity in 1990 in the steel structures´ sector, conquering the Portuguese market in only 6 years. Since
1996 the Group has extended its activity to new construction solutions, stainless steel and aluminium structures, always
based on the excellence of its engineering.
In response to the global need for new energy solutions, the Group begins its activity in the renewable energy sector,
initially with the manufacture of wind towers, taking advantage of the expertise and synergies with the structural
steelworks business unit.
In 2006 Martifer expands its activity to the PV solar sector, with the development of EPC (Engineering, Procurement,
Construction) and turnkey projects and the distribution of PV modules.
With two business areas (Metallic Constructions and Solar) and 15 industrial units operating all over the world, Martifer is
today a multinational group with more than 20 years of experience in building successes.

móviles, y el Puente de Leixões (Oporto, Portugal), el cuarto mayor
puente basculante del mundo, son proyectos que confirman su
capacidad para desarrollar soluciones avanzadas de ingeniería.
Son también ejemplo de su vocación para los desafíos más
complejos la Fundación Champalimaud (Lisboa, Portugal) y el

fourth largest bascule bridge in the world –, are two examples
