ZİHİN SAĞLIĞI (MENTAL HEALTH) 2016
ULUSLARARASI FOTOĞRAF YARIŞMASI
Zihin sağlığı, insanoğlunun verimliliği ile doğrudan ilişkili olduğundan, bireysel ve toplum içindeki en temel
mücadelelerinden biridir. Zihin sağlığı ile toplumun bilimsel ve sanayileşme seviyesi arasında bir ilişki de
bulunmaktadır. Günümüzde ülkeler birçok kaynağı zihin sağlık düzeyini arttırma yönünde kullanmaktadırlar.
Bunun yanı sıra yerel ve sosyal kaynaklarını ve kuruluşları da bu yönde kullanmayı planlamaktadırlar.
Kabul edilen tanıma göre zihin sağlığı sadece zihin bozuklukluğunun bir sonucu değildir. Hoşnutluk, yaşam
tatmini, esneklik, büyüme, gelişme gibi diğer faktörleri de içermektedir. Sağlık sisteminin zihin sağlığı alanındaki
amaçlarından biri zihin sağlığını topluma yaymaktır.
Toplumdaki zihin sağlığı seviyesini yükseltmek için Zanjan Üniversitesi Tıbbi Bilimler ve Sağlık Servisi ile Focus
Photo Club (FIAP’ın İran’daki Operasyon Üyesi) bu fotoğraf yarışmasını organize etmektedir.

Serbest bölüme, potre, insan, doğa, vahşi yaşam, manzara, mimari, still-life fotoğrafları, sayısal görüntüleme ve
HDR fotoğraflar gibi her tür fotoğraflarla katılınabilir.
Zihin Sağlığı Tanımı: Bu tanımla aşağıdaki konuları içeren ve vurgusu pisikolojik, toplumsal manevi ve zihinsel
sağlık üzerine olan; mutluluk, sosyal ilişkiler, çocuklar ve pisikolojik dünyaları, etkili iletişim, birbirini karşılıklı
anlama, pozitif ebeveynlik; kadınların, yaşlı, çocuk ve savunmasız grupların korunması, farklılıkları kabul
edebilme, psikiyatrik hastaların kabul edebilmesi, psikiyatrik düzensizlikler, psikolojik esneklik, halk sağlığının zihin
sağlığı bileşenleri ve zihin sağlığı ile ilişkili bütün konuları içeren fotoğraflar kastedilmektedir.

YARIŞMANIN KOŞULLAR
BAŞVURU
a) Yarışma dünyadaki bütün amatör ve profesyonel fotoğrafcılarına açıktır.
b) Bölümler: Katılımcı, iki bölümlü yarışmanın her bir bölümüne en fazla sekiz fotoğraf gönderebilir. Yarışmanın
ilgili bölümleri için belirlenen şartlar ve tanımlar veya İran yasaları ile belirlenen kurallar dışında yarışma
konusunda bir kısıtlama yoktur.
YARIŞMACI AYNI veya BENZER FOTOĞRAFLARI FARKLI İKİ BÖLÜME GÖNDERMEMELİDİR
c) Önceki Kabuller: Önceki bir Zihin Sağlığı yarışmasına gönderilen veya düzenleyici kurumun görüşüne göre
önceki bir Zihin Sağlığı yarışmasına gönderilmiş fotoğrafa benzer olduğu düşünülen fotoğraflar
değerlendirmeye alınmayacaktır.
d) Telif Hakkı: Yarışmaya gönderilen bir fotoğrafın bütünü telif hakkı kendisinde olan sanatçı tarafından çekilmiş
olmalıdır. Kesme Sanatı (Clip Art) ve Telif Ücreti olmayan (Copyright Free) eserler yarışmaya kabul
edilmeyecektir. Yarışmayı düzenleyen kurum telif hakkı olan eserlerin uygunsuz kullanılmasından kaynaklanan
durumlardan sorumlu değildir.
e) Eserlerin Gönderilmesi: Eserler ve eksiksiz doldurulmuş başvuru formu yarışmanın internet sayfası
(www.MentalHealthExhibition.ir) üzerinden gönderilecektir. Eserleri yüklerken Safari ve Opera
internet tarayıcılarını kullanmayınız. Bunların yerine Firefox, Google Chrome ve Internet Explorer
tarayıcılarını kullanınız. Daha önce Hayyam Fotoğraf Yarışmaları 2014/2015 (Khayyam 2014/2015) veya
Golestaneh Bienaline (Golestaneh Biennial) katılan yarışmacılar bu yarışmalarda kullandıkları kullanıcı adı ile,
yeniden kayıt yaptırmadan, yarışmaya katılabilirler. Katılımcılar, sisteme giriş yaparken sadece Latin harflerini
kullanmalıdırlar.
f) Dosya Boyutu: Yarışmaya gönderilecek bütün eserler JPEG formatında olmalıdır. Renk uzayının RGB olması
önerilir. Dosya boyutları (kenar boşluklar da dahil) uzun kenarı 1400 pikseli aşmamalıdır. Daha düşük boyutlu
eserler kabul edilecektir ancak değerlendirme yapılırken ekranda küçük görünecekleri unutulmamalıdır.
Maksimum dosya boyutu 1 MB geçmeyecektir. Eğer dosya boyutu 1 MB aşarsa ekranda hata mesajı
görünecek ve dosya kabul edilmeyecektir. Lütfen eserleri göndermeden önce belirlenen boyutlardan büyük
olmadığından emin olunuz. Projeksiyon arka planı siyah renkli olduğundan boş alanları doldurmayınız veya
kalın kenar çizgileri eklemeyiniz. Kenarlar 2 piksel genişliğinden daha fazla olmamalıdır. Kabul alan eserlerden
sergileme için 50x70 cm veya daha yüksek boyutlarında baskısı yapılacağından, gerekli olması durumunda,
dosyaların uzun kenarı en az 4000 pixel olan yüksek çözünürlüklü halleri katılımcı tarafından internet üzerinden
gönderilmelidir.
g) Dosya İsimleri: Eserler gönderilirken yeniden isimlendirme yapmaya gerek yoktur. Ancak, eserlerin katalogda
görülmesi istenen şekilde başvuru formuna eserlerin isimlerinin yazılması gerekmektedir.
h) Eser İsmi: Her esere mutlaka farklı bir isim verilmelidir.

i) Değerlendirme: Her bölüm için gönderilen eserler 8 den fazla olamaz. Her katılımcının 8 eseri o bölüm için 8
kez jurinin değerlendirmesine sunulacaktır. Değerlendirme “kalsın” veya “gitsin” şeklinde yapılacaktır. Juri
eserleri LG HDTV televizyon ekranında ve Judgment® Software (Özellikle sayısal yarışmaların
değerlendirilmesi amacı ile Focus Team Software Group tarafından geliştirilen) yazılımı ile yapılacaktır.
j) İsimler: Katılımcı hakkında hiçbir bilgi, eser adı veya ülke bilgileri jüriye bildirilmeyecektir. Yarışmaya
gönderilen eserlerin herhangi bir yerinde görünür şekilde eser ismi veya yarışmacı bilgisi bulunmayacaktır.
k) Halk Gösterimi: Yarışmada kabul alan eserler 50x70 cm veya daha büyük boyutlarda baskısı alınarak
sergilenecektir.
İHTİLAF
Bir eserin, Yarışma Başvuru Koşulları’nda belirtilen kurallarla ihtilaflı olduğu durumlarda (fatura, kabul, şikayet,
puanlama veya ödül gibi) eserin değerlendirilmeye alınıp alınmayacağı konusunda düzenleyici kurumun ve jürinin
kararı bağlayıcıdır.
İTİRAZ
Yarışma herkese açıktır. Ancak destekleyici kuruluş veya bağlı olduğu ajans, kendince geçerli gerekçeler öne
sürerek yarışma kurallarının ihlal edildiğini düşünerek başvuruyu red edebilir.
Özel not: Yukarıda belirtilen durumun yanısıra, diğer kültürlerde olduğu gibi İran’da da bazı konular kabul
görmemektedir. Kültürümüzde, kadınların çıplak bacak, kol ve açık gögüslerini gösteren veya nü fotoğraflar kabul
görmemektedir. Dolayısı ile nü fotoğraflar ve gerektiğinden fazla açık fotoğraflar kabul edilmeyecektir. Nü
fotoğrafları ve çıplak kadın fotoğrafları (çıplak gögüs, kol ve bacak içeren) ve aynı zamanda hayvan çitleşmesini
konu alan fotoğraflar, bu kategoriye girdiği düşünülerek, yarışmadan elenecektir.

sayfasına girerek sonucunuzu kendi eposta adresine “Results” düğmesini tıklayarak gönderilebilir.
KATALOG
Kabul almış bütün yarışmacılara iyi kalitede basılı katalog gönderilecektir. Kataloglar, normal posta ile
gönderilecektir. Ödüller katalog ile birlikte gönderilecektir. Fazladan katalog edinmek isteyenlerin 35$ ödemeleri
gerekmektedir. Yarışma web sayfasına giriş yaptıktan sonra “Catalog Status” linkini tıklayarak katalog gönderim
durumunu öğrenebilirsiniz. Ödül/katalog elinize ulaşınca web sayfasında bulunan “My Catalog/Award Delivered
(Ödülüm/Katalogum Elime Ulaştı)” kutucuğunu seçip “gönder” (submit) kutucuğuna tıklayarak
ödülünüzün/katalogunuzun elinize ulaştığı konusunda bizi bilgilendiriniz lütfen.
ÇOĞALTMA (REPRODÜKSİYON)
Zihin Sağlığı 2016 uluslararası fotoğraf yarışmasına katılmakla katılımcı, yarışmaya gönderdiği eserlerinin
tamamının veya bir kısmının katalog, internet sayfası veya diğer medya ortamlarında Zihin Sağlığı 2016 ile ilgili
tanıtımlarda ücretsiz çoğaltılmasına da iznin vermiş sayılır.
TANIMLAR
Yarışmaya katılan bütün eserlerin kabul ve ödül için değerlendirilebilmesi için yukarıdaki koşulları sağlaması
gerekir.
“Eserlerin, ışığa duyarlı fotoğrafik yüzeye veya sayısal olarak katılımcı tarafından fotoğraflanması (objelerin ışıkla
fotoğraflanması) gereklidir. Yarışmaya katılmakla katılımcı, gönderdiği eserin tümüyle kendisine (çoklu kişiler
tarafından yapılan çekimler kabul edilmez) ait olduğunu doğrular. Katılımcı gönderdiği eserin tamamının veya bir
kısmının ücret talep etmeksizin yarışma ile ilgili olarak çoğaltılıp yayın veya medyada gösterimi için düzenleyici
kuruma yetki verir. Bu izin, eserin bir web sayfasında düşük boyutlu yayınlanmasını da içermektedir. Eserlerinin
reprodiksiyonuna izin vermeyen katılımcının eserleri düzenleyen kurum tarafından diskalifiye edilir. Yarışma,
reprodiksiyonların kötü kullanımından sorumlu değildir. Yarışmanın bütün bölümlerinde, eserlerin sayısal veya
başka şekilde fotoğrafik özellikleri bozulmadığı sürece eserler üzerinde düzenleme yapılabilir. Son ürün, fotoğraf

INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION OF PHOTOGRAPHY
Mental Health is one of the basic challenges of human beings, as it has correlation with the efficiency of human
beings, personally and in the society. And also there is a relation between mental health and the level of scientific
and industrial development of the society. Nowadays, countries spend lots of resources to increase the level of
Mental Health. Also they plan to use organizations and local and social resources.
According to the world definition, mental health is not just lack of mental disorders. But also it is consist of other
factors such as pleasurable feeling and living satisfaction, flexibility, growth and development. One of the goals of
health systems in the field of mental health is disseminating of mental health in the society.
Therefore, to increase the level of mental health in the society, The Zanjan University of Medical Sciences and
Health Services and Focus Photo Club (Operational Member of FIAP in Iran), organize this exhibition.

In open sections, entrants can enter photos with any kind of theme: for example: portrait, people, nature, wildlife,
landscape, architecture, still-life photography, digital imaging, HDR photos, etc.
Mental health Definition: By this, we mean photographs of the following subjects with, the emphasis on
psychological, social spiritual and mental health, such as: happiness, social connections, children and their
psychological world, effective communication, collective mutual understanding, positive parenting, protection of
women, elderly, children and vulnerable groups, acceptance of differences, acceptance of psychiatric patients,
stigmatization of psychiatric disorders, psychological resilience, mental health components of public health and all
other issues related to mental health.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
ENTRIES
l) Entry is open to all photographers, amateur and professional, worldwide.
m) Sections: Each entrant may submit a maximum of eight images in each of the 2 sections. There are no
restrictions as to subject matter except as outlined in the rules and definitions of specific sections, or specified
by law in Iran.
AN AUTHOR MAY NOT ENTER IDENTICAL OR SIMILAR PHOTOGRAPHS INTO DIFFERENT SECTIONS.
n) Previous Acceptances: Images accepted in a previous Mental Health Exhibition or which, in the opinion of the
organizers, are too similar to those accepted in a previous Mental Health Exhibition, will not be judged.
o) Copyright: All parts of the image have to be photographed by the author who is holding the copyright of all
works submitted. Clip Art and Copyright Free material are not acceptable. The organizer assumes no
responsibility for misuse by anyone of the copyright of published images.
p) Submission: Images and a completed entry form must be submitted on line using the exhibition website
(www.MentalHealthExhibition.ir). Please do not use Safari & Opera browsers to submit entry. You
may use Firefox, Google Chrome & Internet Explorer instead. If you entered in the Khayyam 2014/2015 or
Golestaneh Biennial, you may enter this exhibition with the same username and no need for new sign up.
Entrants MUST use only the Western/Latin alphabet when submitting an entry.
q) File size: All images are to be submitted in JPEG format. It is recommended that images should use RGB
Colour Space. Digital Files (including any borders) must not exceed 1400 pixels on the longest side. Smaller
images are acceptable but will be projected smaller on the screen. Maximum file size is 1 MB. If you submit
files larger than 1 MB, you will receive an error message, and your images will be rejected. Please check all
image sizes before submission, images with sizes greater than specified will be rejected. The projection
background is black, Please DO NOT fill empty space with/or add large borders. Any borders should be no
greater than 2 pixels wide. As we will be printing a representative selection of the accepted images to a size of
50x70 cm or larger to exhibit, participants who have had their photos selected to be printed must, upon
request, submit via the web site a High Definition file with at least 4000 pixels in the greatest dimension.

r) File Naming: Files do not need to be renamed when submitting an entry. However, the titles should appear on
the entry form as you wish them to appear in the catalogue.
s) Image Titles: Each image must have a unique title.
t) Judging: Entries are limited to not more than 8 images per section. An entrant’s eight images will be
distributed throughout eight rounds of judging in that section. Judging is based on acceptance or rejection.
Judging will be done using LG HDTV & Judgment® Software (made by Focus Team Software Group,
especially to judge Digital exhibitions).
u) Names: No information about the entrant, title of the image or country will be given to the judges. No title or
identification of the maker shall be visible anywhere on the face of an image entered in this exhibition.
v) Public Showings: The accepted images will be printed to a size of 50x70 cm or larger & will be exhibited.
DISPUTES
In any case of dispute regarding compliance with the Conditions of Entry or matters pertaining to an image
(such as receipt, acceptance, compliance, score or award), the decision of the organizers and judges to accept
your application (or not) will be final.
COMPLIANCE
The exhibition is open to anyone; however, an entry may be rejected when the sponsoring organization, or its
agent, in its reasonable discretion, believes the entry does not conform to exhibition rules and conditions.
Take special note: - In addition, like other cultures, Iran has some subjects that are not acceptable. In the case
of Iran, our culture does not allow images of nudity or of women showing bare breasts, arms and legs. As such
images of nudes and insufficiently dressed women will not be accepted. Nude photography and photographs of
the naked body of women (including breasts, arms and legs) and also animal mating are excluded from
this contest; therefore any entries, adjudged by the organizers to fall into these categories, will be disqualified.
NOTIFICATIONS
Notification of results will be sent by email. Entrants should ensure that they provide an active email address
and that spam filters are set to accept emails from [email protected]. Notifications will not be
sent by post. Also you may login to the site using your username and send your result to your personal email
using “Result” Key.
CATALOGUES
All entrants who have accepted photo will be sent a free copy of the high quality printed catalogue. Catalogues
will be sent by surface mail for overseas addresses. Awards will be sent with the catalogue. Extra catalogues
are also available at an extra fee of $35 USD. You may login to the site, and then go to “Catalog Status” page.
There you may see the status of sending of your catalog. When your catalog/award is received by you, please
tick My Catalog/Award Delivered and then click on submit, to inform us delivery of your catalogue.
REPRODUCTIONS
By submitting an entry for MENTAL HEALTH 2016 International exhibition of Photography, the entrant permits
the organizers to reproduce all or part of the entered material free of charge for publication in a catalogue, on
an internet site and/or in other media related to MENTAL HEALTH 2016.
DEFINITIONS
All entries shall conform to the above definitions for acceptances and awards to be validated for awards and
acceptances.
“Entries must originate as photographs (image-captures of objects via light sensitivity) made by the entrant on
photographic emulsion or acquired digitally. By virtue of submitting an entry, the entrant certifies the work as his
own (aliases are not permitted). The entrant permits the sponsors to reproduce all or part of the entered material
free of charge for publication and/or display in media related to the exhibition. This may include low resolution
posting on a website. Note: Entrants who indicate that their images may not be reproduced or used “will not be
eligible for awards” or inclusion in audio-visuals of the exhibition “and could be subject to disqualification” by the

exhibition sponsors. The exhibition assumes no liability of any misuse of copyright. In all sections of this exhibition
images may be altered, either electronically or otherwise, by the maker and artwork or computer graphics created
by the entrant may be incorporated if the photographic content predominates subject to divisional restrictions”. All
final work must be on photographic film, or on electronic file, or on photographic or electronic print material,
mounting excepted.
