1. Adım: Şampuanı kuru saça uygulayın

Gözünüzün içine girmemesine dikkat edin.

Normal bir şampuan ile saçı yeniden yıkamaya gerek
yoktur.

Çocukların ulaşamayacakları yerde muhafaza edin.
●
Uygulama yapılan saçı alevden uzak tutun.

How do you use Elimax® shampoo?
STEP 1: Spread the shampoo onto dry hair.
● Wrap a towel around the shoulders and neck to prevent
the product dripping onto skin and clothes.
● Use the easy applicator to apply Elimax® shampoo directly onto
the scalp. Be sure to cover the hair and scalp completely.
● Massage well from roots to tips, paying particular
attention to the area behind the ears and the hairline at
the back of the head.
● Leave the product on for 15 minutes without covering
the hair. In the case of long hair, pin the hair up.
STEP 2: Wash the hair.
● First, apply a little water to the treated hair and work up
a lather (foam).
● Rinse out the foam using plenty of water. The product is
easier to rinse out with lukewarm water.
● Take care to ensure that the product does not get into the eyes.
● There is no need to wash the hair again with a regular shampoo.
STEP 3: Comb the hair.
Carefully combing the hair afterwards with the
fine-toothed Elimax® lice comb will further increase the
success rate of the treatment.
● Comb the wet hair with the fine toothed Elimax® lice comb.
● Divide the hair into 4 sections: from the forehead to the
nape, then from one ear to another.
● Treat each section by isolating small tresses so that the
head is visible.
● Comb each tress starting as close as possible to the head.
Always comb from the top of the head to the bottom.
● Using the lice comb, remove each louse/ nit that is found.
Each tress that is lice/ nit free can be put to one side.
● Clean the Elimax® lice comb after each tress with
a cotton pad or ball.
● Dry the hair. It is best to dry the hair using a towel since
using a blow-dryer may lead to scalp irritation.
Check the hair after 7 days. In the majority of cases, a
single treatment is sufficient. If lice are still present after 7
days, repeat the treatment.
How does Elimax® shampoo protect the hair against
infestations?
LPF™ is a combination of a polymer (acrylate) and
oil-soluble substances that makes the surface of the hair
less attractive for lice to crawl on. Research has shown that
lice are less likely to stay on hair and tissue that has been
treated with Elimax® shampoo.
When should you use Elimax® shampoo?
When you suspect a lice infestation: Use Elimax® shampoo
as described above. Check the hair after 7 days. If lice are
still present after 7 days, repeat the treatment.
To protect against infestation: Elimax® shampoo can be
used regularly as described above (omitting use of the
Elimax® lice comb), as a preventive measure.

Precautions:
● Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any of the
ingredients. In the event of a rash or signs of irritation/
allergy, stop the treatment and wash your hair with your
regular shampoo.
● Do not use this product if the scalp is already very irritated
or damaged.
● Several applications may be needed in cases of heavy
infestation (>85 lice/head).
● Make sure you wash the product out well.
● Always leave the treatment on for the full 15 minutes.
● Do not use the product under occlusion, e.g. by covering
the hair with a shower cap or tin foil.
● Avoid the product dripping onto the body (neck,
shoulders and chest) by wrapping a towel around the
shoulders. If the product does come into contact with the
skin, be sure to wash it off using soap and water.
● Avoid any contact with the eyes and mucous membranes
(mouth and nose). If the product comes into contact with
the eyes, rinse thoroughly with water.
● For external use only.
● In the event of accidental ingestion or aspiration, contact
a doctor or your local anti-poison centre.
● Keep out of the reach of children.
● Keep treated hair away from naked flames.
Possible side effects:
Elimax® shampoo is well tolerated when used regularly.
In rare cases, the following adverse events may occur:
Skin rash and irritation.
Slightly puffy or prickly eyes.
Peeling scalp.
Contraindications:
There are no data on use by pregnant or breastfeeding
women. In the event of lice infestation during pregnancy or
breastfeeding, consult your GP.
This product is only suitable for head lice (not suitable for
pubic or body lice).
Not suitable for children under 12 months.
Composition:
Oligodecene oil, foaming agents, LPF™ (sesame oil,
acrylate copolymer), fragrance.
Storage conditions:
Store the product between 5 °C and 25 °C and protect from light.
Packaging and expiry date:
100 ml container (CE 0120) and comb (CE).
Do not use the product after the expiry date mentioned on
the label.

What is Elimax® shampoo?
Elimax® shampoo (patent pending) is a transparent liquid
made up of a specially developed oil and a lice protection
factor (LPF™). The special polymeric oil was specifically
selected for maximum effect on head lice. The mixture has
a double action: it blocks the breathing holes of the louse,
and dehydrates and shrivels the skin of the insect. Elimax®
shampoo does not contain neurotoxic insecticides, so there
is no risk of resistance developing. Elimax® shampoo does
not contain silicone (dimethicone), so it leaves no greasy
residue on the hair. For maximum protection against lice,
Elimax® shampoo contains LPF™. This factor makes the hair
unattractive to lice. Hair treated and washed with Elimax®
shampoo is less likely to be infested by lice.
