GENERAL RULES:
The Salon is open to all photographers worldwide, amateurs and professionals, except members of the
exhibition committee, jury members and representative of Turkish Art Photography Federation.
Last date for to send works is 10 October 2015 (23.55 – Turkey Time). Entrants must upload the images
from the website www.sillesanat.com on “Contests” section.

By submitting an entry, the entrant certifies the work as his own. Images totally created by using
computer software or images without any photographic content will be disqualified. Notifications will be
sent by e-mail only.
If participants violate the competition conditions, their awards will be cancelled. The award is not
replaced with a new one and the ranking and award will be left empty. The participant declares and
accepts that any legal issues about his/her photos will be under his/her responsibility. The participant
declares and confirms that the work sent for contest is completely his/her own and all permissions are
granted & completed. If the participant fails to fulfill these requirements - even he/she wins - the award
or title will be taken back from him/her. If the participant submits a copyright which does not belong to
him/her, executes any alterations or changes on the photo that does not belong to him/her to mislead
the jury, the participant will be restricted from entering competitions for a year according to the TFSF
(Photographic Arts Federation of Turkey) rules. If the participant breaks the rules again, he/she will be
restricted from all contests approved under TFSF patronage for an indefinite period. FIAP will be
informed about the situation. The participants, who are in the list of limitation decision according to TFSF
(Photographic Arts Federation of Turkey) rules clarified above and are at FIAP’s Red List, cannot
participate to this contest. The participants declare and confirm all permissions are taken by them and
whole responsibility belongs to them in case of any kind of conflict or disagreement. UFSD (International
Art Photography Association) will not be held responsible for any conflicts or disagreements. With the
sole act of submitting his/her images or files to a salon under FIAP Patronage, the entrant accepts
without exception and with no objection that the submitted images can be investigated by FIAP to
establish if these obey to FIAP regulations and definitions even if the entrant is not a member of FIAP;
that FIAP will use any means at its disposal for this undertaking; that any refusal to cooperate with FIAP
or any refusal to submit the original files as captured by the camera, or failure to provide sufficient
evidence, will be sanctioned by FIAP and that in case of sanctions following the non compliance with FIAP
regulations, the name of the entrant will be released in any form useful to inform the breaches of the
rules. It is recommended to leave the EXIF data in the submitted files intact in order to ease eventual
investigations. A member of TFSF will be on charge during the organization.
SIZES OF WORKS:
The images must be in Jpeg format. The required maximum long side must be 2100 pixels. Bigger images
are unacceptable. Resolution must be 300 dpi. The images must be frameless and there must not be a
signature or a signal or date on the images. Maksimum size of each image must be less then 3,5 MB.
Maximum of 4 images may be submitted.

If payment by PayPal is for other photographers, please indicate the Photographer’s name, to make sure
that they received proper credit. Images may not be judged unless proper credit is shown.

ENTRY FORM:
The Entry Form must be filled on website www.sillesanat.com. Any other form of entries (e.g. e-mails, CD
or prints) will not be accepted. A list of the entries received will be published on the Salon Web Site.
Please check the Status list for your entries on the Web Site about 1-2 days after sending. You can see
your name after you paid entry fee.

The CD-ROM Catalogue, showing acceptances and images, will be posted to each participant, to Balıkesir
M. Emin Tan Photography Library and to Art Photography Clubs in Turkey.
RESULTS:
A list of acceptances and awards will be posted to all participants e-mail addresses by e-mail. And will be
announced at Turkish Art Photography Federation web site (www.tfsf.org.tr) and www.sillesanat.com
web pages on the same time.
