be open to BNI Members & Visitors from Essex, Hampshire, Kent, Surrey & Sussex. The opportunity
to network with 100’s of likeminded BNI Members from the S.E. cannot be understated, but when
we add in 4 fantastic speakers who will be sharing great business ideas and BNI Members
Exhibition stands it is clear the place to be on the 27th June is the East Sussex National.

Penny Power OBE joined the Technology Sector in 1983
Phil Berg of Reach YOUR Goals and BNI is a much sought
and built many sales channels and help people that find
technology challenging.
In 1998 Penny and Thomas Power founded Ecademy, the
UK’s first social network for business, that they sold in 2012 –
leaving a legacy of over 600,000 Micro Businesses who
understood what it meant to be part of a global community
as friends.
In 2009 Penny authored her book, “Know Me, Like Me
Follow Me” which was followed by her Manifesto for Digital
Business Britain in 2011 supported by Mark Prisk MP, UK
Business Minister.
Later in 2011, Penny founded the Digital Youth Academy
bringing a new Apprenticeship to market to help young
people get jobs that played to their Born Digital strengths.
In 2014 Penny started working with Scredible and Founded
Scredible Professional Services, a USA software company that
provides a powerful solution for individuals and companies
to develop their online identity, elevate their voice online
and achieve real Social Credibility www.scredible.com
In the 2014 New Years Honours List Penny was been
awarded an OBE for her commitment to ‘Entrepreneurship
and Social Digital Development. @pennypower
after keynote and International motivational speaker, specialising
in the areas of helping companies and individuals increase
their profits, by converting more enquiries into closed business
and by ensuring they understand how to network effectively.
Phil is the Co-Assistant National Director for BNI in the UK &
Ireland and is a valued member of the Founders Circle, the
Manuals Committee and the European Director Training Team.
He is also the Co- Executive Director for London North East
and the Managing Area Director for London North West, Herts
& Beds and Oxfordshire & Buckinghamshire, who, with his
team of 50+ Directors and Ambassadors, support over 1700
members.
He spent 32 years of his previous life in the retail industry,
enjoying great success from building (and then selling in 2007)
his flooring business
His interests are sports related – he enjoys football, rugby,
squash, golf and going to the gym. He played soccer for
Tottenham Hotspur and Queens Park Rangers and represented
his county at both swimming and basketball. Phil is married to
Jackie (his true love since they were 16 years old), who oversees
the administration side of the businesses. They have 2 wonderful
children: Jamie, 22 years old and Natasha, 16. @PhilBerg88
Charlie Lawson is the Co-National Director of BNI in the
Erkan Ali is an exceptionally committed business coach and
UK & Ireland. He has a passion for helping SMEs Build a Better
Business through BNI, and is driven by his goal of helping BNI
members pass over £1bn of referral business per year by 2020.
As the increasingly public face of the organisation, Charlie is
determined to see that BNI takes its rightful place as the ‘Voice
of SMEs’ everywhere! He writes, blogs, speaks and even acts all for BNI.
In any spare time he does have, Charlie spends his time with
his partner, Hannah, and running around after his 4 year old
son, Alfie, and 16 month old daughter, Maggie Mae, as well as
wondering if Spurs will ever finish above Arsenal in the league.
Charlie is one inch off a giant and, as ever, has an inordinately
