lasting friendships
Luisa, from Italy, became friends with Sonia Gandhi
(then Sonia Maino), now the President of the Indian
National Congress, while studying with Bell in the 1960s.
Luisa and Sonia used to visit The Varsity restaurant in
Cambridge where Sonia met Rajiv Gandhi, former Prime
Minister of India.
Bell opens its first school
in London. Today Bell
London offers Effective

EXPERIENCE
2011
“
Generations at Bell
My father came here when he was a child. He liked
it very much so he wanted me to come here. English is
very important in the world and I need it for school and
university. At the beginning I couldn’t speak at all and
now it’s much better
Mecit studied with Bell in 1976 and went on to become
an English teacher in his native country of Turkey – his
lifelong dream. Both his son and daughter have since
studied at Bell. His daughter’s dream is to study medicine,
so Bell arranged a tour of Addenbrooke’s Hospital. She
hopes to return as an intern.
Bell Cambridge enjoys
