Anasınıfı 50. Gün Kutlaması
Anasınıfı küçük grup öğrencilerimizle sayı ve zaman kavramlarını pekiştirmek
üzere düzenlediğimiz etkinliklerle zamanın nasıl geçtiğini, bugünün dünden farklı
olduğunu ve yarının aslında ne kadar yakın olduğunu görmek için birlikte bir ipe her
gün boncuk dizerek 50. güne kadar saydık. Böylece iki basamaklı sayı kavramını
da birlikte keşfettik. Yaptığımız parti ile okula geldiğimizden bu yana öğrendiklerimizi
kutladık.
50th Day Celebration in the Kindergarten
Together with the kindergarten students in the younger group we were stringing beads
into a thread and counting those beads so that we would reinforce the concepts of
number and time and see how time passes and how “yesterday” and “today” are
different from each other and how close “tomorrow” is. We counted up until the 50th
day. By doing this we also explored the concept of “two- digit number”. We celebrated
what we have learned up to now since the beginning of the school with the party we
organized.
3 Aralık Dünya Engelliler Günü
“3 Aralık Dünya Engelliler Günü” ile ilgili öğrencilerimizde farkındalık yaratmak
amacıyla çeşitli etkinlikler düzenledik. Etkinlerimizle öğrencilerimiz yürüme,
görme ve işitme engelli kişilerin ihtiyaçlarını ve duygularını anlamak üzere empati
çalışması yaparak okulumuzda bulunan engellilerin yaşamını kolaylaştırmak
üzere alınmış önlemleri, yapılandırılmış alanların görsellerini incelediler.
December 3 International Day of Persons with Disabilities
We carried out a variety of activities in order to raise our students’ awareness related
to the International Day of Persons with Disabilities which is on December 3. Students
joined activities to understand the feelings and needs of people with hearing, seeing, or
walking disabilities and to empathize with them and they also examined the precautions
taken and the visuals related to the zones allocated to them in our school in order to
facilitate the lives of those people.
İngilizce Aktivite Tamamlama Sertifikaları
Ortaokul öğrencilerimiz Eylül ayından itibaren İngilizce okuma becerilerinin
gelişiminin izlenebilmesini sağlayan Achieve 3000 online okuma aracını
kullanmaktalar. Achieve 3000’de düzenli olarak okuyan ve aktiviteleri tamamlayan
öğrencilerimizin İngilizce okuma becerisi gelişim gösterdi. Öğrencilerimize,
bu gelişimleri için hazırlanan teşekkür sertifikaları 07 Aralık 2015 tarihinde
gerçekleşen törende iletildi.
The Certificates of Appreciation
Since September the students in the middle school have been using the Achieve 3000
online reading tool that help us monitor the development of their English reading skills.
The English reading skills of the students who have read Achieve 3000 regularly and
completed the exercises have shown progress. The certificates of appreciation issued
to commend on their progress were presented to the students at a ceremony that took
place on December 7, 2015.
Piyanist Martin Stadtfeld ile “Rhapsody in School”
İstanbul resitalleri kapsamında ülkemize gelen, yorumladığı Bach eserleriyle ün
kazanmış Alman piyanist Martin Stadtfeld’in çocuklara yönelik “Rhapsody in School”
projesinin bir etkinliği 12 Aralık 2015 tarihinde İstanbul Sakıp Sabancı Müzesi’nde
gerçekleştirildi. Türk Eğitim Derneği’nin sponsorluğunda TED Rönesans Koleji
müzik kulübü, bando ve orkestra üyesi öğrencilerimizle, başarılı bir müzisyeni
yakından tanımak ve eserlerini dinlemek amacıyla prova ve sohbetinde sanatçı ile
birlikteydik.
“Rhapsody in School” with pianist Martin Stadfeld
The event organized within the framework of the project titled “Rhapsody in School”
organized for children by Martin Stadtfeld, a German pianist who is renowned for his
interpretation of the works of Bach, took place on December 12, 2015 at İstanbul Sakıp
Sabancı Museum while he was in Istanbul for recitals. Sponsored by Turkish Education
Association, the event gathered together the successful musician with the students in the
TED Rönesans College music club, band, and orchestra and enabled the students get to
know the musician and listen to his works during the rehearsal and the interview with him.
Refika Birgül ile “Sütün Yolculuğu” Etkinliği
Yerli mallarının üretimini desteklemek ve kullanımını yaygınlaştırmak amacı ile 2014
yılında başlattığımız “Yerli Malı Kullanıyorum!” projemiz kapsamında 17 Aralık 2015
tarihinde Refika Birgül ile “Sütün Yolculuğu” etkinliğiyle bir araya geldik. İlk aşamada
kendi yoğurtlarını mayalayan ve sütten lor peynirinin nasıl yapıldığını öğrenen
öğrencilerimiz, yok olmaya yüz tutan Türk zanaatları ile tanışıp zanaatlarımıza gönül
veren ustaları da andılar. Etkinlik sonrasında “Yerli Malı Kullanıyorum” proje kitapçığı,
içeriği zenginleştirilerek yeniden basılacak.
“The Journey of Milk” Activity with Refika Birgül
Within the framework of our project titled “I am using domestic goods!” that has been
initiated in 2014 in order to support the manufacturing of local goods and to make them
more widespread, we came together with Refika Birgül at the activity called “The Journey
of Milk” on December 17, 2015. First of all, students fermented yoghurt and learned how to
make curd from milk and then they were introduced to Turkish crafts which are on the verge
of extinction and remembered artisans who had their hearts on crafts. Following the activity,
the content of the project booklet titled “I am using domestic goods!” will be expanded
and published.
Öğretmenlerle Yeni Yıl Eğlencemiz
TED Rönesans Koleji çalışanları 29 Aralık 2015 Salı günü “2016’ya Merhaba”
eğlencesinde bir araya geldi.
The New Year Party for Teachers – 29.12.2015
The staff of the TED Rönesans College came together at the party to welcome 2016 on
Tuesday, December 29.
Okul Aile Birliği Yeni Yıl Kermesi
Okul Aile Birliği’mizin katkılarıyla 19 Aralık 2015 Cumartesi günü yeni yıl
kermesimizi geçekleştirdik. Gün boyu lezzetli ikramlar eşliğinde süren
kermesimizde öğrencilerimiz maker, kapla, sanat, yoga, dans, iyikido, müzik ve
dans atölye etkinlikleri ile dolu dolu bir gün geçirdi. Ziyaretçilerimiz kermesteki
stantlarda birçok farklı ürünü alma imkânı buldular. Şarkıcı Aydilge’nin mini
konseri ile renklenen kermesimizde öğrencilerimiz eğlenceli dakikalar geçirdi.
Ayrıca velilerimizin katılımıyla “Çatışma Durumlarıyla Başa Çıkabilme” semineri
ve “Nefes Atölyesi” gerçekleştirildi. Muhteşem hediyelerin dağıtıldığı çekilişle
de yılın ilk şanslıları belirlendi.
New Year Bazaar Organized by the Parent- Teacher Association
On Saturday, December 19 we organized the New Year Charity Bazaar with the
contributions of the Parent- Teacher Association. During the charity bazaar we enjoyed
treats and students had great fun participating in maker, kapla, art, yoga, dance,
iyikido, music, and dance activities and workshops. The visitors of the bazaar had the
opportunity to purchase a variety of products from different stands. The mini- concert
by the famous singer Aydilge made the bazaar even more fun and students enjoyed
it a lot. In addition to these activities, parents participated in the seminar titled “Conflict
Management” and the “Breathing Workshop”. Moreover, there was a lottery with great
gifts and the lucky people of the New Year received their gifts.
TED’R Radyo Yeni Yıl Yayını
TED Rönesans Koleji Radyo Kulübü Öğrencilerinin düzenlediği “Yeni Yıl” radyo
programı, TED’R Radyo’da 30 Aralık 2015 tarihinde dinleyicileri ile buluştu. TED’R
Radyo’yu tedr.tedronesans.k12.tr adresinden online olarak dinleyebilirsiniz.

Students of the TED Rönesans College’s Radio Club broadcast their show titled “New
Year” on December 30, 2015 on TED’R. You can tune into and listen to TED’R on tedr.

Göz Muayenesi
Çocukluk çağında yapılan göz taramaları, görme bozukluklarını ortaya çıkarmada,
ileri yaşlarda tedavisi mümkün olmayan görme tembelliği gibi durumların sıklığını
azaltmada önemli rol oynamaktadır. Bu amaçla, okulumuzda 28-30 Aralık 2015
tarihleri arasında göz taraması gerçekleştirildi. Tarama sırasında öğrencilerimizde,
otorefraktometre ile kırma kusuru (miyop, hipermetrop, astigmat) aranıp pnömatik
tonometre ile öğrencilerimizin göz içi basıncı değerlendirildi, gözlük kullananların
gözlük-göz numarası uygunluğu araştırıldı.
Eye Inspection
Eye exams done during childhood play an important role in finding out sight problems
and decreasing the frequency of issues such as amblyopia (lazy eye) which cannot
be treated in older ages. Therefore, we organized an eye exam from December 28 to
December 30 in our school. During the scan a series of tests was performed to find out
vision problems (myopia, hyperopia, or astigmatism), the inner pressure of the eye was
measured using a device called tonometer, and the prescriptions of eye-glasses and
the actual values were compared to see whether they were correct.

TED Rönesans Koleji Öğrencilerinin Yeni Yıl Eğlencesi
( Anasınıfı – İlkokul )
Yeni Yıl eğlencelerimiz kapsamında, 30 Aralık 2015 Çarşamba günü anaokulu
öğrencilerimizle “Kostümlü Yeni Yıl Partisi” gerçekleştirildi. Ayrıca ilkokul
öğrencilerimiz “Sinema Gösterimi” ile keyifli bir film izledi. Ortaokul öğrencilerimiz
kar tatili sebebi ile etkinliklerini Ocak ayının ilk haftasında gerçekleştirecek.
The New Year’s Party of the Students of TED Rönesans College
(Preschool – Primary School)
On Wednesday, December 30 a costume party on the occasion of the New Year was
organized for preschool students within the framework of the celebrations. Moreover,
primary school students enjoyed themselves watching a movie. On the other hand,
middle school students will have their celebration during the first week of January due
to the snow day on the last week of the year.
Türk Eğitim Derneği Yetkililerinden Okulumuza Ziyaret
18 Aralık 2015 Cuma günü Türk Eğitim Derneği Genel Müdürü Sevinç Atabay,
TED Yabancı Diller Koordinatörü Dr. Fatma Ataman ve Eğitim Uzmanı Özlem Nas
okulumuzu ziyaret etti. Ziyaretlerinde veli, öğretmen ve öğrencilerimizle birlikte
görüşmeler gerçekleştirdiler. Birlikte okulumuzu gezdik. Genel Müdürümüz
Sevinç Atabay’dan TED’in kuruluş öyküsünü dinledik ve TED Rönesans Marşı’nı
birlikte söyledik.
The Visit of the Authorities of the Turkish Education Association
On Friday, December 18 Ms. Sevinç Atabay, the General Manager of the Turkish
Education Association, Dr. Fatma Ataman, TED’s Foreign Languages Coordinator,
and Özlem Nas, education expert visited our school. They came together with parents,
teachers, and students and had a school tour. Our General Manager Sevinç Atabay
told us the story of the foundation of TED and we sang the TED Rönesans March
altogether.
