Ce manuel vous propose de nombreux conseils pour utiliser et entretenir correctement votre
climatiseur. Vous trouverez les réponses aux problèmes les plus fréquents dans le chapitre
‘Résoudre les pannes’. En cas de problème, consultez d’abord le chapitre G “ Résoudre les
pannes ”. Il vous évitera d’appeler inutilement le service de réparation.

CONSIGNES DE SECURITE
L’installation doit répondre entièrement aux réglementations, ordonnances et normes en vigueur localement. L’appareil est conçu exclusivement pour une utilisation dans un lieu sec, à l’intérieur de la maison.

Vérifiez la tension du réseau. Cet appareil est conçu uniquement pour une prise de courant avec mise à la
terre, avec une tension de raccordement de 230 V. / 50 Hz.
IMPORTANT
• L’appareil DOIT être branché sur une prise reliée à la terre. Si la prise électrique n’est pas reliée à
la terre, ne branchez pas l’appareil. La prise doit toujours rester facile d’accès une fois que
l’appareil est branché. Lisez et respectez soigneusement ces instructions.
• Le climatiseur contient un réfrigérant et peut être classé comme équipement pressurisé. C’est
pourquoi l’installation et la maintenance doivent toujours être effectués par un spécialiste
agréé. Nous vous recommandons de faire réviser votre climatiseur chaque année par un
technicien agréé.
Avant de brancher l’appareil, vérifiez si:
•
la tension de raccordement est bien la même que celle indiquée sur la plaque signalétique de l’appareil,
•
la prise et l’approvisionnement en courant sont bien adaptés à l’appareil,
•
la fiche électrique rentre bien dans la prise de contact,
•
l’appareil est bien posé sur une surface plane et stable.
Si vous avez des doutes sur la compatibilité de l’appareil, faites vérifier l’installation électrique par un professionnel.
•
Cet appareil est fabriqué selon les normes de sécurité CE. Soyez cependant prudent lors de son utilisation, comme avec tout autre appareil électrique.
•
Ne couvrez jamais la grille d’entrée et de sortie d’air.
•
Ne mettez jamais l’appareil en contact avec des produits chimiques.
•
Ne vaporisez jamais d’eau sur l’appareil. Ne le trempez jamais dans l’eau.
•
N’enfilez pas les doigts ou un objet dans les ouvertures de l’appareil.
•
Ne branchez jamais l’appareil sur une rallonge électrique. Si vous ne disposez pas de prise de courant
avec mise à la terre, faites assurer l’installation par un électricien agréé.
•
Comme avec tous les appareils électriques, soyez prudent et attentif lorsque des enfants se trouvent
près de l’appareil.
•
Toute réparation et/ou maintenance doit être exclusivement effectuée par un technicien agréé ou votre
distributeur Zibro. Pour l’utilisation et l’entretien de l’appareil, prière de suivre les instructions indiquées dans le manuel.
•
Débranchez toujours l’appareil lorsque vous ne l’utilisez pas.
•
Si le cordon électrique de l’appareil est endommagé, faites-le changer par un électricien ou par votre
distributeur agréé.
•
Pour allumer ou éteindre l’appareil, utilisez le bouton marche/arrêt sur le climatiseur ou sur la télé-commande. Ne tirez pas sur la prise électrique pour l’éteindre.
•
N’ouvrez pas le climatiseur lorsqu’il est en marche. Débranchez toujours l’appareil avant de l’ouvrir.
•
Débranchez toujours l’appareil avant toute activité d’entretien ou de nettoyage.
•
Ne placez jamais de brûleur à gaz, fours, cuisinières sur la trajectoire du flux d’air.

Si vous avez les mains mouillées, n’appuyez pas sur les boutons de l’appareil et ne le manipulez pas.
•
Notez que l’unité extérieure émet un bruit de fonctionnement. L’utilisateur a la responsabilité de vérifier si l’appareil est en parfaite conformité avec la législation locale.

Tableau de commande
Le bouton de commande de test est utilisé comme bouton de commande de secours.

BOUTON DE COMMANDE DE SECOURS (MANUEL). En cas de non-disponibilité de la télécommande (si
elle a été égarée ou si les piles sont vides), le système de climatisation peut continuer à fonctionner temporairement.
BOUTON DE COMMANDE DE TEST (MANUEL). La commande de test est destinée à des cas spéciaux, lorsqu’il faut tester le fonctionnement du refroidissement même si la température du local est inférieure à
16 °C, donc elle n’est pas du tout destinée au fonctionnement normal.

VOYANT TEMOIN DE TENSION. Le voyant témoin de tension s’illumine lorsque le bouton ON / OFF (marche/arrêt) de la télécommande est sur “ON”. (Marche).
3.
INDICATEUR DE MODE MINUTEUR. L’indicateur de mode minuteur s’allume lorsque le bouton du minuteur de la télécommande est mis en position ON (marche) ou OFF (arrêt).
4.
INDICATEUR DE MODE DE FONCTIONNEMENT. L’indicateur de mode de fonctionnement s’allume lorsque le climatiseur est utilisé.
Fonction de rétablissement automatique
En cas de coupure de courant pendant le fonctionnement, l’état de fonctionnement avant la coupure est
mis en mémoire. 3 à 4 minutes après le rétablissement du courant, l’unité se remet en marche automati-quement dans le mode de fonctionnement mis en mémoire (3 à 4 minutes est le délai de protection du compresseur).

AVANT LA MISE EN SERVICE
1. Mise en oeuvre de la télécommande
Mise en place / remplacement des piles
Utiliser deux piles alcalines sèches (AAA /LR03).
Ne pas utiliser de piles rechargeables.

Enlever le couvercle du compartiment des piles au dos de la télécommande
en le faisant coulisser dans le sens de la flèche sur le couvercle.
2.

Insérer deux nouvelles piles en veillant à bien orienter le (+) et le (-) de la
pile.
3.
Remettre le couvercle en place par coulissement.
N.B.
• En remettant les piles en place, ne pas utiliser de vieilles piles ni des piles de type différent. Cela
pourrait perturber le fonctionnement de la télécommande.
• Si la télécommande n’est pas utilisée pendant plusieurs semaines, enlever les piles. Autrement,
si les piles fuient, la télécommande risque d’être endommagée.
• Dans des conditions normales, une pile fonctionne en moyenne pendant 6 mois.
• Remplacer les piles si l’unité intérieure ne produit pas de signal sonore ou si le signal lumineux
de transmission n’apparaît pas.
• Ne pas mélanger les piles neuves et anciennes. Ne pas utiliser simultanément des piles de types
différents (par exemple alcaline et au lithium).
Stockage de la télécommande et conseils pratiques d’utilisation
La télécommande peut être placée dans le support mural. Le support mural est fourni avec l’appareil.
Utilisation de la télécommande
Diriger la télécommande vers le récepteur sur l’unité intérieure du climatiseur. Il est possible d’actionner le
climatiseur de cette manière jusqu’à une distance de 7 mètres environ.

REMARQUE
• N’utiliser en aucun cas le climatiseur sans le filtre à air.
• Utiliser uniquement des filtres Zibro adéquats. Cela évite d’endommager le climatiseur.
• Les filtres adéquats sont disponibles chez votre revendeur.

Comment fixer les filtres d’épuration d’air
a. Ouvrir le panneau avant en tirant vers le haut.
b. Enlever les filtres à air extérieurs. Pousser l’onglet au milieu de chaque filtre
vers le haut jusqu’au déblocage et dégager le filtre vers le bas.

Fixer les filtres d’épuration d’air en place. Attacher les filtres statiques Catechin
et les filtres photocatalytiques anti-odeurs des deux côtés.

En fixant les filtres, ne pas toucher les partie métalliques pour éviter de
se blesser.
d. Fixer les filtres à air en place. Fixer les filtres à air derrière le dispositif de blocage, avec l’indication “FRONT” vers l’extérieur. Veiller à ce que les filtres
soient bien complètement derrière les dispositifs de blocage. Si les filtres ne
sont pas fixés correctement, cela peut susciter des défectuosités.
e. Fermer le panneau avant en poussant vers le bas.

réglages jusqu’à la prochaine utilisation.
N.B.
• Si l’on appuie sur le bouton ON juste après avoir arrêté le fonctionnement, le climatiseur ne
démarre pas pendant environ 3 min, pour protéger le compresseur. Le fonctionnement
commencera automatiquement après 3 min d’attente.
• Si l’unité effectue le refroidissement et la déshumidification de façon prolongée avec une forte
humidité ambiante (par exemple, les fenêtres et portes sont ouvertes), des gouttes de
condensation peuvent apparaître sur l’unité intérieure.
• Utiliser le mode de déshumidification quand la température intérieure et extérieure est égale
ou supérieure à 16 °C. La déshumidification peut cesser en raison de la basse température.
• En mode de déshumidification, il est possible que la température réglée ne soit pas atteinte, en
fonction du nombre d’occupants, de la condition de la pièce et de la température extérieure,
parce que la déshumidification a la priorité.
• La vapeur d’eau temporaire suscitée par la condensation sur l’échangeur de chaleur peut
former un brouillard au début de la déshumidification ou au changement après le
refroidissement.

• Aucun air ne sort avant que l’échangeur de chaleur soit assez chaud pour prévenir la sortie
d’air froid.
• Le climatiseur ne commence à fonctionner qu’après environ 3 min pour protéger le
compresseur, même si l’on appuie sur le bouton ON juste après l’arrêt du fonctionnement. Le
fonctionnement démarre automatiquement après 3 min.
• L’unité extérieure peut geler, réduisant la capacité de chauffage pendant le fonctionnement en
mode de chauffage. Dans un tel cas, l’unité arrête automatiquement le chauffage et effectue
le dégel. Pendant le dégel, les unités intérieure et extérieure se mettent à l’arrêt.
• En cas de chauffage insuffisant, il est recommandé de passer du mode “Auto” à “High”.
• Nous suggérons d’utiliser de l’équipement de chauffage supplémentaire s’il est trop difficile de
chauffer le local en raison d’une température extérieure trop basse.
Fonctionnement automatique
En fonctionnement automatique, le climatiseur sélectionne le mode de fonctionnement (refroidissement,
déshumidification, chauffage) en fonction de la température du local au démarrage.

L’ordinateur vérifie et compare la température du local à

fois que la température dans le local aura atteint la température réglée et que l’unité extérieure se sera
arrêtée 15 minutes ou plus.

Fixation de la direction du flux d’air
Après une nouvelle pression sur le bouton du volet vertical, le volet vertical s’immobilise. Le volet vertical est mis automatiquement dans la position précédente

• Si l’unité est mise à l’arrêt, le volet vertical ferme automatiquement la sortie d’air.
• Ne pas maintenir le volet vertical fermé pendant un période prolongée pendant le
refroidissement ou la déshumidification. Autrement, des gouttes de condensation peuvent se
former à la sortie.
• L’angle des volets verticaux et horizontaux peut changer automatiquement pour prévenir la
condensation pendant le refroidissement.
• Utiliser la télécommande sans fil pour changer l’angle du volet vertical. Ne pas le déplacer de
force à la main, car cela risque de perturber son fonctionnement. Si le volet ne fonctionne pas
correctement, mettre l’appareil à l’arrêt, puis de nouveau en marche.
Le flux d’air horizontal peut être réglé en modifiant la position des lames du volet horizontal à la main.
Uniquement sur le type S 2053: Le volet horizontal oscillera en permanence de droite à gauche si l'on appuie
sur le bouton de volet horizontal.

Uniquement sur le type S 2053: pour fixer la position de la lamelle horizontale, appuyez une nouvelle fois
sur le bouton de la lamelle verticale.

N.B.
• Des gouttes de condensation peuvent apparaître à la sortie d’air en cas de forte humidité (en
période de pluie) si l’on utilise le système avec le volet horizontal en position extrême vers la
droite ou la gauche.
• Utiliser la télécommande sans fil pour changer l’angle du volet horizontal. S’il est forcé à la
main, le mouvement du volet horizontal peut dépasser l’amplitude normale. En cas de
problème, débrancher l’appareil pour remettre le réglage à l’état initial.

Fonctionnement du minuteur
Avant le régler le minuteur, valider l’heure actuelle réglée. Au réglage du minuteur, la télécommande met
ce réglage en mémoire. A partir de la fois suivante, il est possible de remettre en marche le même mode de
fonctionnement minuteur en appuyant sur le bouton Marche/Arrêt et sur le bouton “ON/OFF” de fixation
du minuteur. Il est possible d’utiliser les fonctions “ON” et “OFF” du minuteur en combinaison.
Démarrage par minuteur
Exemple : régler le démarrage avec le minuteur (ON) sur 7 h du matin.
Le fonctionnement commence à cette heure-là.
Programmation de l’heure de démarrage

Appuyer sur le bouton Marche/Arrêt. Procéder à partir de la phase 5 (cidessous) si l’unité a été utilisée ou si l’arrêt a été réglé avec le minuteur.

Appuyer sur le bouton de réglage du démarrage par minuteur “ON”. L’heure
de démarrage (“ON”) apparaît pendant 2 secondes, après quoi l’heure actuelle apparaît.
Annulation du démarrage par minuteur
Appuyer sur le bouton de réglage du démarrage par minuteur “ON”. Le voyant lumineux du minuteur
s’éteint.

Une pression sur ce bouton fait démarrer le minuteur qui fera cesser le fonctionnement à l’heure réglée.
Appuyer sur le bouton de mise en veilleuse pendant le fonctionnement.
Après une pression sur le bouton, à l’heure réglée, le mode suivant est activé :

Fonctionnement continu (Mode veilleuse : OFF (désactivé). Le fonctionnement
cesse après écoulement de l’heure réglée.
N.B.
• En cas de sélection du fonctionnement “OFF” et Veilleuse (16), le
dernier réglage a la préséance sur le premier.
• En mode de fonctionnement Veilleuse minuteur (16), il n’est pas
nécessaire de régler l’heure actuelle.
Caractéristiques de la veilleuse de minuteur
Pendant le refroidissement
La température réglée augmente de 0,6 °C après 30 minutes de veilleuse de minuteur (ON), et augmente de nouveau de 0,6 °C 30 minutes après la première augmentation de température.
Pendant le chauffage
La température réglée baisse de 0,6 °C après 30 minutes de veilleuse de minuteur
(ON), et baisse de nouveau de 0,6 °C 30 minutes après la première baisse de température.

Le fonctionnement de secours à une température supérieure à 23 °C et inférieure à 26 °C signifie
uniquement que l’appareil est en marche en mode de refroidissement mais sans vraiment
refroidir. La déshumidification n’est alors pas possible.
Test

La commande de test est destinée à des cas spéciaux, lorsqu’il faut tester le fonctionnement du refroidissement même si la température ambiante est inférieure à 16 °C, donc elle n’est pas du tout destinée
au fonctionnement normal.

Appuyer sur le bouton de commande de secours et le bip retentit une fois ; maintenir le bouton enfoncé pendant plus de 5 secondes, mais moins de 10 secondes. Après les 5 premières secondes, deux bips
retentissent ; relâcher le bouton pour obtenir le mode de fonctionnement “Test”.
•
Le mode de fonctionnement Test fait que le climatiseur refroidit avec une haute vitesse d’air (H) pendant 30 minutes, avant de s’arrêter.
Arrêt du fonctionnement de secours ou du fonctionnement test
•
Il est possible de faire cesser le fonctionnement quand un bip retentit, soit en appuyant de nouveau sur
le bouton, soit avec la télécommande.
•
En cas d’utilisation de la télécommande, l’appareil retourne automatiquement au mode de fonctionnement normal.

FILTRE A AIR
Ce climatiseur est équipé de 3 types de filtres pour nettoyer l’air en circulation dans le local.
a.
Ecran filtrant anti-moisissures : élimine les particules de poussière de l’air. La surface de l’écran filtrant
ne permet pas le développement de moisissures et l’appareil fournit donc de l’air frais propre.
b.
Filtre photocatalytique anti-odeurs ; élimine les odeurs.
c.
Filtre statique Catechin ; empêche la prolifération de virus et de germes.
Il est possible d’ouvrir l’armature de filtre sur le côté de l’unité. Il est alors possible d’installer ou d’enlever
l’écran filtrant, le filtre photocatalytique anti-odeurs et le filtre statique Catechin.
a.
Il convient de nettoyer régulièrement l’écran filtrant anti-moisissures avec un aspirateur, en prévention
du blocage du flux d’air. Autrement, enlever le filtre et le laver à l’eau. Après le lavage, laisser sécher le
filtre complètement, à l’ombre.
b.
Pour recharger le filtre photocatalytique anti-odeurs, l’exposer directement au soleil pendant 6 heures
tous les 6 mois. La présence de fumée etc. peut écourter sa durée de vie. Dans des conditions normales,
sa durée de vie est de 2 à 3 ans.
c.
Il est possible de nettoyer le filtre statique Catechin à l’aspirateur quand il est poussiéreux, mais il doit
être remplacé après écoulement de sa durée de vie, qui est de 1 an dans des conditions normales.

• Les vieux filtres peuvent être jetés dans le conteneur à déchets non biologiques.
• Les filtres adéquats sont disponibles chez le revendeur.
• Le fait de faire fonctionner le climatiseur sans filtre anti-moisissures, sans filtre
photocatalytique anti-odeurs ou sans filtre statique Catechin ne l’endommage pas. Mais alors,
les odeurs et les micro-organismes ne sont pas éliminés de l’air en circulation.

Le filtre photocatalytique anti-odeurs et le filtre statique Catechin sont fournis séparément sous
plastique. Enlever les sachets en plastique et installer les filtres (voir chapitre B).
ENTRETIEN
MISE EN GARDE
Avant l’entretien, bien veiller à mettre le système et le coupe-circuit à l’arrêt.
Télécommande
Ne pas mouiller la télécommande, mais l’essuyer avec un linge sec. Ne pas utiliser de nettoyant pour verre
ni de linge imprégné chimiquement.
Ensemble intérieur
Essuyer le climatiseur avec un linge doux et sec. Pour les taches difficiles, utiliser un détergent neutre dilué.
Bien essorer le linge avant d’essuyer, puis essuyer le détergent complètement.
Ne pas utiliser les produits suivants pour le nettoyage
L’essence, la benzine, le diluant ou un nettoyant peuvent endommager le revêtement de l’unité. L’eau chaude de plus de 40 °C peut susciter des décolorations ou des déformations.

rétrécissement du carénage sous l’effet des variations de
température.
Un « zoum » peut se faire entendre pendant le fonctionnement du
système. Ce bruit est suscité par le changement de direction du
réfrigérant dans le système.
En mode de déshydratation, la sortie d’air peut être interrompue pour
éviter un refroidissement excessif.

Install the device only when it complies with local regulations, by-laws and standards. The unit is only sui-

Operating panel
The test operation switch is used as an emergency operation switch.
1.
EMERGENCY OPERATION (MANUAL) SWITCH. If the wireless remote controlling system is not available
(when the wireless remote controller is lost or is out of battery), the air conditioning system is able to
continue its operation temporarily.
TEST OPERATION (MANUAL)SWITCH. Test operation is needed in special occasion when you need to test
the “cooling operation” even with the room temperature below 16°C, therefore it is not for the normal operation at all.

POWER/ELECT (POWER INDICATOR). The power indicator lights when the operational ON/OFF of the
remote controller is “ON”.
3.
TIMER (TIMER MODE INDICATOR). The timer mode indicator lights when timer switch of the remote
controller is in “ON” or “OFF” position.
4.
OPERATE (OPERATING MODE INDICATOR). The operating mode indicator lights when the air conditioner is being operated.
Auto recovery function
lf there is any power failure during operation, operation status before power failure is memorized. 3~4
minutes after power recovery, the unit restarts automatically with previous operation status memorized
(3~4 minutes is protective time for compressor).

BEFORE OPERATION
1. Operating the Remote Controller
Install / Replace Batteries
Use two dry alkaline batteries (AAA/LR03).
Do not use rechargeable batteries.

Remove the battery cover on the back of the Remote Control by pulling it
according to the arrow direction shown on the cover.
2.

Insert new batteries making sure that the (+) and (-) of battery are installed
correctly.
3.
Reattach the cover by sliding it back into position.
NOTE!
• When replacing batteries, do not use old batteries or a different type battery. This may cause
the remote controller to malfunction.
• If you do not use the remote controller for several weeks remove the batteries. Otherwise
battery leakage may damage the remote controller.
• The average battery life under normal use is about 6 months.
• Replace the batteries when there is no answering beep from the indoor unit or if the
Transmission Indicator light fails to appear.
• Never mix new and old batteries. Never use different battery types (e.g. alkaline and
manganese dioxide) simultaneously.
Storage of the remote control and tips for use
The remote control can be placed in the wall-mounted holder. The wall-mounted holder is delivered together with the unit.
Using the remote control
Point the remote control at the receiver on the indoor unit of the air conditioner. The air conditioner can
be operated in this manner up to a distance of approximately 7 meters.

• Even if you press the ON button right after the operation stop, the air conditioner will not
start operation for approx. 3 min. in order to protect the compressor. The operation will start
automatically after 3 min. of waiting.
• If the unit operates cooling and dry for a long time in high humidity (i.e., windows and doors
are opened), dew and water droplets may form on the indoor unit.
• Use dry mode when both indoor and outdoor temperatures are 16°C and above. The dry
operation may stop under the low temperature.
• In dry mode the set temperature may not be attained depending on the number of occupants,
room condition, and outdoor temperature, because dehumidification is given priority.
• Temporary vapor from condensation on the heat exchanger may form a mist at the start of dry
operation or at the change from cooling operation.

NOTE!
• The air will not flow out unless the heat exchanger gets warm enough in order to prevent cold
air.
• The air conditioner will not start operation for approx. 3 min. in order to protect the
compressor even if you press the ON button right after the operation stops. The operation will
start automatically in 3 min.
• The outdoor unit may frost and heating capacity may deteriorate during the heating
operation. In such case, the unit automatically stops heating operation and conducts
defrosting operation. The fans of the indoor and outdoor units stop during the defrosting
operation.
• We recommend you change the fan speed mode to “Auto” from “High” if you don’t feel
warm enough.
• We suggest you use additional heating equipment if it is difficult to warm the room because of
low outdoor temperature.
Automatic operation
In automatic operation the air conditioner selects the operation mode (cooling, dry, heating) according to
the room temperature when it starts.

Fixing the air flow Direction
The vertical louver will come to a halt if the vertical louver button is pressed once
again. The vertical louver will be set at previous position automatically for the next

NOTE!
• The vertical louver closes the outlet automatically when the unit is switched off.
• Do not keep the vertical louver downward for a long time during cooling or dry operation.
Otherwise dew drops may appear at the outlet.
• The angle of vertical and horizontal louvers may automatically change to prevent
condensation during cooling operation.
• Use the wireless remote control unit to change the angle of the vertical louver. Do not force to
move it by hands as it may make the louver not work correctly. Stop the operation once and
turn on again if the louver doesn’t work correctly.

The horizontal airflow can be adjusted by manually changing the horizontal louver blades.
For S2053 only: The horizontal louver will keep moving steadily right and left if the horizontal louverbutton is
pressed once.

Fixing the Flow Direction
For S2053 only: The horizontal louver will come to a halt if the horizontal louver button is pressed once again.
NOTE!
• Dew drops may appear at the outlet under high humidity (e.g.during rainy season) if the
system is operated with the horizontal louver faced to the extreme right or left.
• Use the wireless remote control unit to change the angle of the horizontal louver. The
horizontal louver may move out of the normal range if forced by hands. Unplug in order to
initialize the setting if you encounter problems.
Timer operation
Before setting the timer, confirm that the present time is set accurately. Once you set the timer, the remote
controller memorizes the setting. From the next time, you can operate the same timer mode just by pressing the ON/OFF button and the Timer fixing (“ON/OFF Timer”) button.
You can use the combined function of the “ON Timer” and “OFF Timer”.

• When you select both “OFF Timer” operation and “Sleep Timer”
operation, the latest setting precedes the first setting.
• “Sleep Timer” operation has no need to set the present time.

0.6°C again after 30 minutes of the first temperature rise.

Emergency and test operation

•
The emergency operation is needed only when the remote control can not be used.
•
When you press the Emergency Operation Switch, you will hear a beep and the emergency operation
starts.
•
Emergency operation is preset for the following two modes, only based on the temperature of the
room at the time of operation.

NOTE
Emergency operation at the temperature between above 23°C and below 26°C just switch the
machine in operation in “cooling mode” without actually “cooling”. It is not possible to operate
in “Dry” mode.
Test operation
•
Same switch as used in Emergency operation.
•
Test operation is needed in special occasion when you need to test the “cooling operation” even with
the room temperature below 16°C, therefore it is not for the normal operation at all.
•
Press the Emergency operation switch and hear the beep once, then keep on pressing the switch for
more than 5 seconds but no more than 10 seconds. After the first 5 seconds you will hear two beeps
then release the switch and you will have the Test Operation Mode.
•
The Test Operation Mode will run the air conditioner at “cooling” with air flow speed at “Hi” for 30
minutes and stops automatically.
Termination of emergency or test operation
•
You can terminate the operation when you hear a beep by either pressing the switch once more, or by
operating through remote control.
•
When you operate through remote control, is automatically get back to just normal operation mode by
remote control.

AIR FILTER
This air conditioner is equipped with 3 filter types to clean the circulated room air.
a.
Mold-Proof screen filter; the screen filter removes dust particles from the air. The surface of the screen
filter is mold proof which prevents mold from growing, and thus delivers clean, fresh air from the airconditioner.
b.
Photocatalytic Anti-odor Filter; to remove odours.
c.
Static Catechin Filter; Inhibiting proliferation of viruses and germs.

The filter frame on the backside of the unit can be opened. The Mold-Proof screen filter, the Photo-catalytic Anti-odor Filter and the Static Catechin Filter can be installed or removed.
a.
The Mold-Proof screen filter has to be cleaned regularly with a vacuum cleaner to avoid blocking of the
air flow. Alternatively take out the filter and wash it with water. After washing, dry the filter completely in the shade.
b.
The Photocatalytic Anti-odor Filter can be recharged by placing it into direct sunlight for 6 hours per
half year. The presence of smoke, etc can shorten the lifetime. Expected lifetime under normal circumstances 2~3 years

c.
The Static Catechin Filter; can be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner when dusty but has to be changed at
the expected lifetime under normal circumstances after approximately 1 year.

NOTE
• The old filters can be disposed in the ‘Non-biological garbage container’.
• Replacement filter packages are available at your dealer.
• To run the unit without Mold-Proof filter, Photocatalytic Anti-odor Filter or Static Catechin
filter does not bring any harm to the airconditioner. In that case odours and airborne micro
organisms are not removed from the circulated air.
NOTE
The Photocatalytic Anti-odor Filter and the Static Catechin filter are delivered in a separate plastic
packaging. Remove plastic bags and install filters (refer chapter B).
MAINTENANCE
WARNING!
Before maintenance, be sure to turn off the system and the circuit breaker.
Remote controller
Do not use water, wipe the controller with a dry cloth. Do not use glass cleaner or chemical cloth.
Indoor body
Wipe the air conditioner by using a soft and dry cloth. For serious stains, use a neutral detergent diluted
with water. Wring the water out of the cloth before wiping, then wipe off the detergent completely.
Do not use the following for cleaning.
Gasoline, benzine, thinner or cleanser may damage the coating of the unit. Hot water over 40°C (104°F) may
cause discoloring or deformation.

wash them with water. They are not reusable once soiled. Dirty filters may result in loss of air
cleaning effect and capacity of cooling/heating, and cause offensive odor. We suggest you
purchase new filters at your nearest dealers.

TROUBLE SHOOTING
CAUTION!
In the event of a malfunction (burning smell, etc.) immediately stop operation, disconnect the
Power Supply plug and consult sales shop. Before requesting service, perform the following
checks:
Problem
Cause / Solution
The system does not start re-operation
immediately.
This is for protection of the system. After a stop, the sys-tem does
not start operation for approx. 3 min
Smells are generated.
This is because the system circulates smells from the interior air
such as the smell of cigarettes, cosmetics, the walls or furniture.
When cooling is started or heating is stopped, a swishing or a
gurling noise may be heard. This noise is generated while the
refrigerant is flowing in the air conditioner.
Occurring of noise.
When starting or stopping operation, a cracking noise may be
heard. This noise is generated by the casing expanding or
shrinking because of temperature changes.
A whooshing noise may be heard during operation of the system.
This noise is generated when the refrigerant changes direction.
Air does not flow (Indoor Unit). Air flow
speed can not be changed.
During the dry mode operation, air may not flow out, to prevent
excessive cooling.
During the heating operation, air does not flow out until the air
is heated enough to prevent cold air flow. During the thawing in
heating, air may not flow.
The cooling/heating function may not work effectively when the
air filter is clogged with dust and dirt.
Make sure the room temperature has not yet reached the
designated level.
Cooling/heating is not sufficient.
Make sure the air flow speed is not set at ”LO“.
Make sure the inlet or outlet of the outdoor unit is not blocked.
When the room temperature has not reached the required level
because of low ambient temperature, add other heating
facilities.
The indicator on the wireless remote
controller is dim.The indicator dims when
sending signals.Indication does not appear
on the wireless remote controller.
Make sure if the dry batteries have enough charge. Use dry R-03
(AAA) batteries. Replace worn dry batteries with a new pair
batteries.
Make sure the dry batteries are set in the right polarity
directions.
Misting (Indoor Unit)
It is caused by chilled air in cooling operation.
Steaming (Outdoor Unit)
It is caused by defrosting of outdoor unit in heating operation.
In case of an emergency while in operation, such as malfunction, stoppage or unoperative remote control
unit caused by lightning damage or automobile radio transmitter, please unplug and wait for three
minutes. Then plug in again and push ON/OFF button on the remote control unit.

GUARANTEE CONDITIONS
The air conditioner is supplied with a 24-month guarantee, commencing on the date of purchase. All material and manufacturing defects will be repaired or replaced free of charge within this period. The following
rules apply:

We expressly refuse all further damage claims, including claims for collateral damage.
2.
Repairs to or replacement of components within the guarantee period will not result in an extension
of the guarantee.
3.
The guarantee is invalidated if any modifications have been made, non genuine parts are fitted or
repairs are carried out by third parties.
4.

Components subject to normal wear, such as the filter, are not covered by the guarantee.
The guarantee is valid only when you present the original, dated purchase invoice and if no modifications have been made.
6.
The guarantee is invalid for damage caused by neglect or by actions that deviate from those in this
instruction booklet.

Transportation costs and the risks involved during the transportation of the air conditioner or air conditioner components shall always be for the account of the purchaser.
8.
Damage caused by not using suitable Zibro filters is not covered by the guarantee.
9.
Refrigerant loss and/or leakage because of incompetent (dis)connecting the units is not covered by the

In de handleiding vindt u vele nuttige tips over hoe u de airconditioner op de juiste manier
gebruikt en onderhoudt. In het hoofdstuk Storingen Verhelpen vindt u oplossingen voor
algemene problemen. Als u eerst hoofdstukG “Storingen Verhelpen” doorleest hoeft u misschien geen contact op te nemen met de serviceafdeling.

VEILIGHEIDSVOORSCHRIFTEN
De installatie moet volledig in overeenstemming zijn met de ter plaatse geldende voorschriften, bepalingen en normen. Het apparaat is uitsluitend geschikt voor gebruik op droge plaatsen, binnenshuis.

Controleer de netspanning en de frequentie. Dit apparaat is uitsluitend geschikt voor een geaard stopcontact, aansluitspanning 230 V./ 50 Hz.
BELANGRIJK
• Het apparaat MOET altijd geaard worden aangesloten. Als de stroomvoorziening niet geaard
is, mag u het apparaat niet aansluiten. De stekker moet altijd makkelijk toegankelijk zijn als
het apparaat is aangesloten. Lees deze gebruiksinstructie zorgvuldig en volg de aanwijzingen.
• De airconditioner bevat een koudemiddel en kan worden aangemerkt als apparatuur onder
druk. Neem daarom altijd contact op met een erkend installatiespecialist om de airconditioner
te laten installeren en te onderhouden. Wij raden u aan de airconditioner eens per jaar te
laten keuren en onderhouden door een erkend airconditioning monteur.
Controleer vóór het aansluiten van het apparaat of:
•
de voedingsspanning overeenkomt met de netspanning op het typeplaatje;
•
stopcontact en stroomvoorziening geschikt zijn voor de elektrische spanning vermeld op het typeplaatje;
•
de stekker van het snoer in het stopcontact past;
•
het apparaat op een stabiele ondergrond staat.
Laat de elektrische installatie controleren door een erkend vakman als u er niet zeker van bent dat alles in
orde is.
•
Dit apparaat is volgens de CE veiligheidsnormen gefabriceerd. Toch dient u, zoals bij ieder elektrisch apparaat, voorzichtig te zijn.
•
Het luchtinlaat- en uitblaasrooster nooit afdekken.
•
Breng het apparaat nooit in contact met chemicaliën.
•
Het apparaat nooit in contact brengen met water, met water besproeien of in water onderdompelen.
•
Steek niet uw handen, vingers of voorwerpen in de openingen van het apparaat.
•
Sluit het apparaat nooit aan met behulp van een verlengsnoer. Als er geen geschikt geaard stopcontact
voorhanden is, laat dit dan installeren door een erkend elektricien.
•
Wees uit veiligheidsoverwegingen altijd voorzichtig met kinderen in de buurt van dit apparaat, zoals met
ieder elektrisch apparaat.
•
Laat eventuele reparaties en/of onderhoud alleen uitvoeren door een erkend servicemonteur of door uw
erkende Zibro leverancier. Volg de gebruiks- en onderhoudsinstructies in het gebruikershandboek dat bij
dit apparaat hoort.
•

Haal altijd de stekker van het apparaat uit het stopcontact als het niet wordt gebruikt.
Laat een beschadigd elektriciteitssnoer or stekker alleen vervangen door een erkend elektricien of door
de leverancier.
•
Zet nooit de airconditioner aan of uit door de stekker in het stopcontact te steken of eruit te halen.
Gebruik daarvoor alleen de speciale bedieningsknoppen op de airconditioner of op de afstandsbediening.
•
Open de airconditioner nooit als deze in werking is. Trek altijd eerst de stekker eruit alvorens het apparaat te openen.
•
Haal altijd de stekker uit het stopcontact wanneer de airconditioner wordt gereinigd of wanneer er
onderhoud wordt gepleegd.

•
Plaats nooit gasbranders, ovens of kooktoestellen in de luchtstroom.
•
Bedien nooit de knoppen en raak de airconditioner nooit aan met natte handen.
•
De buitenunit produceert geluid wanneer het apparaat aanstaat. Dit kan in strijd zijn met plaatselijke
wettelijke regelingen. Het is de verantwoordelijkheid van de gebruiker om na te gaan of de apparatuur
volledig voldoet aan de plaatselijke wettelijke regelingen.

Bedieningspaneel
De testbedieningsschakelaar wordt gebruikt als noodbedieningsschakelaar.
1.
SCHAKELAAR VOOR (HANDMATIGE) NOODBEDIENING. Wanneer het draadloze afstandsbedieningsysteem niet beschikbaar is (als de draadloze afstandbediening is zoekgeraakt of de batterij ervan leeg
is), kan de airconditioner tijdelijk blijven werken.
SCHAKELAAR VOOR (HANDMATIGE) TESTBEDIENING. In speciale gevallen, wanneer u de "koelwerking" moet testen ook al is de kamertemperatuur lager dan 16 °C, heeft u de testbediening nodig. Deze
gebruikt u dus niet tijdens normale werking van het apparaat.
2.
POWER/ELECT (POWERINDICATIELAMPJE). Het powerindicatielampje gaat branden wanneer de ON/OFF
(AAN/UIT) knop op de afstandsbediening wordt ingedrukt om het apparaat "AAN" te zetten.
3.
TIMER (TIMERMODUSINDICATIELAMPJE). Het timermodusindicatielampje gaat branden wanneer de
timerschakelaar op de afstandsbediening in de "ON" (AAN) of "OFF" (UIT) positie staat.
4.
OPERATE (WERKINGSMODUSINDICATIELAMPJE). Het werkingsmodusindicatielampje gaat branden
wanneer de airconditioner wordt bediend.
Autoherstelfunctie
Als de stroom tijdens de werking uitvalt, wordt de status vóór de uitval onthouden. De unit herstart automatisch 3~4 minuten nadat de stroomtoevoer is hersteld, in de modus die in het geheugen staat (de periode van 3~4 minuten is ter bescherming van de compressor).

VOOR INGEBRUIKNEMING
1. Bedienen van de afstandsbediening
Batterijen installeren / vervangen
Gebruik twee droge alkalinebatterijen (AAA/LR03).
Gebruik geen oplaadbare batterijen.
1.
Verwijder het batterijklepje aan de achterkant van de afstandsbediening
door eraan te trekken overeenkomstig de pijlrichting op het klepje.
2.

Plaats nieuwe batterijen en zorg ervoor dat de (+) en (-) van de batterij juist
zijn geplaatst.
3.
Plaats het klepje terug door het weer op zijn plek te schuiven.
LET OP!
• Gebruik bij het vervangen van batterijen geen oude batterijen of batterijen van een ander
type. Dit kan storing in de afstandsbediening veroorzaken.
• Verwijder de batterijen als u de afstandsbediening gedurende enkele weken niet gebruikt.
Lekkende batterijen kunnen de afstandsbediening beschadigen.
• De levensduur van de gemiddelde batterij bij normaal gebruik is ongeveer 6 maanden.
• Vervang de batterijen als de binnenunit geen pieptoon laat horen of als het transmissieindicatielampje niet gaat branden.
• Gebruik nooit nieuwe en oude batterijen door elkaar. Gebruik nooit verschillende batterijtypen
(bijv. alkaline en mangaandioxide) tegelijkertijd.
Bewaren van de afstandsbediening en tips voor het gebruik
De afstandsbediening kan worden geplaatst in de houder die aan de wand kan worden bevestigd. Deze
houder wordt meegeleverd met de unit.
Gebruik van de afstandsbediening
Richt de afstandsbediening op de ontvanger van de binnenunit van de airconditioner. De airconditioner kan
op deze manier vanaf een afstand tot ongeveer 7 meter worden bediend.

• Gebruik de airconditioner nooit zonder het luchtfilter.
• Gebruik alleen geschikte Zibro filters. Dit voorkomt schade aan uw airconditioner.

Hoe de luchtreinigingsfilters aan te brengen
a. Open het frontpaneel door het omhoog te trekken.
b. Verwijder de buitenste luchtfilters. Druk het flapje van elk filter een klein stukje omhoog totdat deze los komt van de stopper en verwijder het filter naar
beneden.

Breng de luchtreinigingsfilters aan. Breng zowel de "Elektrostatische,
Catechinfilters" als de "Fotokatalytische anti-geurfilters" op beide zijden aan.

VOORZICHTIG
Raak om verwondingen te voorkomen de metalen onderdelen niet aan
als u filters aanbrengt.
d. Breng de luchtfilters aan. Zet de luchtfilters zó achter de stopper vast dat de
“FRONT” indicatie aan de voorkant te zien is. Zorg ervoor dat de filters volledig achter de stoppers vastzitten. Als de filters niet op de juiste manier zijn
bevestigd, kunnen er defecten optreden.
e. Sluit het frontpaneel door het naar beneden te duwen.

LET OP!
• Ook al drukt u op de ON (AAN) knop direct nadat de werking is gestopt, zal de airconditioner
gedurende ongeveer 3 minuten niet beginnen te werken om de compressor te beschermen.
Het apparaat start automatisch na 3 minuten wachten.
• Als de unit bij hoge luchtvochtigheid (ramen en deuren zijn geopend) gedurende langere tijd
koelt en droogt, kunnen er dauw- en waterdruppels worden gevormd op de binnenunit.
• Gebruik de droogmodus alleen als de binnen- en buitentemperatuur allebei boven de 16 °C
zijn. Bij lagere temperaturen kan de drogende werking worden gestopt.
• Het is mogelijk dat de ingestelde temperatuur in de droogmodus niet wordt bereikt,
afhankelijk van het aantal inzittenden, de omstandigheden in de kamer en de
buitentemperatuur, omdat ontvochtiging prioriteit heeft.
• Een tijdelijke damp van condensatie op de warmtewisselaar kan een nevel vormen bij aanvang
van de drogende werking of bij het omschakelen van koelen naar drogen.

LET OP!
• De lucht zal niet uitstromen tenzij de warmtewisselaar warm genoeg wordt om een koude
luchtstroom te voorkomen.
• De airconditioner zal gedurende ongeveer 3 minuten niet beginnen te werken om de
compressor te beschermen ook al drukt u op de ON (AAN) knop direct nadat de werking is
gestopt. De werking begint automatisch na 3 min.
• Er kan zich ijs vormen op de buitenunit waardoor de warmtecapaciteit afneemt tijdens het
verwarmen. In zo'n geval stopt de unit automatisch met verwarmen en begint met ontdooien.
De ventilatoren op de binnen- en buitenunit stoppen tijdens het ontdooien.
• We raden u aan de ventilatorsnelheid van “Auto” over te schakelen naar “Hoog” als u het niet
warm genoeg heeft.
• We raden u aan extra verwarmingsapparatuur te gebruiken als het moeilijk is om de kamer te
verwarmen vanwege een lage buitentemperatuur.
Automatische werking
Tijdens de automatische werking kiest de airconditioner de werkingsmodus (koelen, drogen, verwarmen)
op basis van de kamertemperatuur op het moment dat het apparaat wordt ingeschakeld.

dat het apparaat wordt gebruikt.
LET OP!
• De verticale ventilatiejaloezie sluit de uitlaat automatisch af wanneer de unit wordt
uitgeschakeld.
• Houd de verticale ventilatiejaloezie niet gedurende langere tijd naar beneden gericht tijdens
koelen of drogen. Anders kunnen dauwdruppels worden gevormd bij de uitlaat.
• De hoek tussen verticale en horizontale ventilatiejaloezieën kan tijdens koelen automatisch
veranderen om condensatie te voorkomen.
• Gebruik de draadloze afstandsbediening om de hoek van de verticale ventilatiejaloezie te
veranderen. Probeer de jaloezie niet met de hand te bewegen omdat dit de juiste werking
ervan kan verhinderen. Stop de werking en schakel deze weer in als de jaloezie niet correct
werkt.
Zwenken van de luchtstroom
De horizontale luchtstroom kan worden geregeld door handmatig de horizontale jaloezielamellen bij te
stellen.
Vastzetten richting luchtstroom
Door weer op de lamel knop te drukken wordt de horizontale lamel vastgezet en wordt de stand opgeslagen. Als de unit opnieuw wordt ingeschakeld staat de lamel automatisch in dezelfde stand.
Richting van de luchtstroom vastzetten:

Alleen bij het SP2053 type: de horizontale lamel wordt vastgezet als de verticale lamel knop weer een keer
wordt ingedrukt.

LET OP!
• Bij hoge luchtvochtigheid (bijv. tijdens het regenseizoen) kunnen dauwdruppels ontstaan bij
de uitlaat als de horizontale jaloezie tijdens de werking extreem links of rechts gericht is.
• Gebruik de draadloze afstandsbediening om de hoek van de horizontale jaloezie aan te
passen. De horizontale jaloezie kan buiten het normale bereik terecht komen als hij daar
handmatig naartoe gedwongen wordt. Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact om de instelling te
initialiseren als u problemen ervaart.

Timerwerking
Controleer alvorens de timer in te stellen of de huidige tijd correct is ingesteld. Zodra u de timer heeft ingesteld, onthoudt de afstandsbediening de instelling. Vanaf de volgende keer kunt u dezelfde timermodus
gebruiken door slechts op de ON/OFF (AAN/UIT) en de Timerbevestiging ("ON/OFF timer") knop te drukken.
U kunt de gecombineerde functie van de "ON Timer" en de "OFF Timer" gebruiken.

“SLAAP Timer”
Indrukken van deze knop start de timermodus die de werking na het ingestelde tijdstip stopzet.
Druk op de “SLAAP” knop tijdens de werking.
Door op de knop te drukken volgt de ingestelde tijd de volgende modus:

Testwerking
•
Dezelfde schakelaar die gebruikt wordt bij de noodbediening.
•
In speciale gevallen, wanneer u de "koelwerking" moet testen ook al is de kamertemperatuur lager
dan 16 °C, heeft u de testbediening nodig. Deze gebruikt u dus niet tijdens normale werking van het
apparaat.
•
Druk op de noodbedieningschakelaar. U hoort de pieptoon één keer, daarna blijft u de schakelaar langer dan 5 seconden ingedrukt houden, maar niet langer dan 10 seconden. Na de eerste 5 seconden
hoort u twee pieptonen. Laat dan de schakelaar los. Dit is de testwerkingmodus.
•
De testwerkingmodus laat de airconditioner gedurende 30 minuten met luchtstroomsnelheid "Hoog"
werken en stopt dan automatisch.
Beëindiging van nood- of testwerking
•
U kunt de werking beëindigen wanneer u een pieptoon hoort door óf de schakelaar nogmaals in te
drukken óf de afstandsbediening te gebruiken.
•
Als u de afstandsbediening gebruikt, keert het apparaat automatisch terug naar de normale werkingsmodus door de afstandsbediening.

LUCHTFILTER
Deze airconditioner is voorzien van 3 filtertypes om de gecirculeerde lucht te reinigen.
a.
Schimmelbestendig schermfilter; het schermfilter verwijdert stofdeeltjes uit de lucht. Het oppervlak van
het schermfilter is schimmelbestendig, wat voorkomt dat er schimmel op groeit. Zo levert het filter
schone, frisse lucht uit de airconditioner.
b.
Fotokatalytisch anti-geurfilter; om geuren te verwijderen.
c.
Elektrostatisch Catechinfilter; remt de verspreiding van virussen en ziektekiemen.
Het filterframe aan de achterkant van de unit kan worden geopend. Het schimmelbestendige schermfilter,
het fotokatalytische anti-geurfilter en het elektrostatische Catechinfilter kunnen worden geïnstalleerd of
verwijderd.
a.
Het schimmelbestendige schermfilter moet regelmatig met een stofzuiger worden schoongemaakt om
te voorkomen dat het de luchtstroom blokkeert. Een alternatief is het uitnemen van het filter om het
met water te reinigen. Na het wassen moet het filter volledig droog worden op een schaduwrijke
plaats.
b.
Het fotokatalytische anti-geurfilter kan weer opgeladen worden door het in direct zonlicht te plaatsen
gedurende 6 uur per half jaar. De aanwezigheid van rook, etc. kan de levensduur verkorten. Verwachte
levensduur onder normale omstandigheden 2~3 jaar.
c.
Het elektrostatische Catechinfilter kan indien stoffig worden gereinigd met een stofzuiger maar dient
onder normale omstandigheden na de verwachte levensduur van ongeveer 1 jaar te worden vervangen.

• De oude filters kunnen worden afgedankt in de 'niet-biologische afvalcontainer' (grijze
container).
• Pakketten met vervangende filters zijn verkrijgbaar bij uw verkooppunt.
• De unit raakt niet beschadigd als deze werkt zonder het schimmelbestendige schermfilter, het
fotokatalytische anti-geurfilter en het elektrostatische Catechinfilter. Maar in dit geval worden
geuren en micro-organismen aanwezig in de lucht niet uit de gecirculeerde lucht verwijderd.
Het fotokatalytische anti-geurfilter en het elektrostatische Catechinfilter worden geleverd in een
aparte plastic verpakking. Verwijder het plastic en installeer de filters (zie hoofdstuk B).
ONDERHOUD
WAARSCHUWING!
Zorg dat het systeem en de stroomonderbreker zijn uitgeschakeld voordat u enig onderhoud pleegt.
Afstandsbediening
Gebruik geen water, neem de afstandsbediening af met een droge doek. Gebruik geen glasreiniger of chemisch geïmpregneerde doek.
Binnenunit
Neem de airconditioner af met een zachte, droge doek. Voor ernstige vlekken kunt u een neutraal schoonmaakmiddel verdund met water gebruiken. Wring het water uit de doek voor het afnemen en veeg dan het
schoonmaakmiddel volledig af.
Gebruik de volgende artikelen niet voor het schoonmaken
Benzine, wasbenzine, thinner of reinigingsmiddelen kunnen de deklaag van de unit aantasten. Heet water
warmer dan 40 °C (104 °F) kan verkleuring of vervorming veroorzaken.
Schoonmaken van het schermfilter (tweewekelijks)

Open de inlaat door deze omhoog te trekken.
Verwijder het schermfilter. Druk het flapje van het filter een klein stukje
omhoog totdat deze los komt van de stopper en verwijder het filter naar
beneden.
3.
Reinig het schermfilter. Gebruik een stofzuiger om stof te verwijderen of
was het filter met water. Na het wassen moet het schermfilter volledig droog
worden op een schaduwrijke plaats
4.
Zet het filter zó achter de stopper vast dat de “FRONT” indicatie aan de
voorkant te zien is. Zorg ervoor dat het filter volledig achter de stopper vastzit. Als het filter niet op de juiste manier is bevestigd, kunnen er defecten
optreden.

• De elektrostatische Catechinfilters zijn ongeveer 1 jaar werkzaam.
• Verwijder stof met een stofzuiger of vervang de filters door nieuwe als ze vuil zijn. Was ze niet
met water. Ze zijn niet opnieuw te gebruiken nadat ze vuil zijn geworden. Vuile filters kunnen
zorgen voor een vermindering van de luchtreinigingseffectiviteit en
koeling/verwarmingscapaciteit en kunnen een nare geur veroorzaken. We adviseren u om
nieuwe filters aan te schaffen bij het dichtstbijzijnde verkooppunt.

Zorg dat de inlaat of uitlaat van de buitenunit niet is geblokkeerd.
Gebruik extra verwarmingstoestellen als de kamertemperatuur het
vereiste niveau niet heeft bereikt vanwege lage
omgevingstemperaturen.

Controleer of de droge batterijen conform de juiste polariteit geplaatst
zijn.
Nevel (binnenunit)
Dit wordt veroorzaakt door koude lucht tijdens koelen.
Damp (buitenunit)
Dit wordt veroorzaakt door het ontdooien van de buitenunit tijdens
verwarmen.
Controleer of de droge batterijen nog genoeg lading hebben. Gebruik
droge R-03 (AAA) batterijen. Vervang lege batterijen door nieuwe.
Trek bij noodgevallen tijdens de werking, zoals een storing, blokkering of niet-werkende afstandsbediening
veroorzaakt door bliksemschade of een autoradiotransmitter, de stekker uit het stopcontact en wacht drie
minuten. Steek dan de stekker weer in het stopcontact en druk op de ON/OFF (AAN/UIT) knop op de
afstandsbediening.

GARANTIEBEPALINGEN
U krijgt op de airconditioner 24 maanden garantie vanaf de aankoopdatum. Binnen deze periode worden
alle materiaal- en fabricagefouten kosteloos verholpen. Hierbij gelden de volgende regels:
1.
Alle verdere aanspraken op schadevergoeding, inclusief gevolgschade wijzen wij uitdrukkelijk af.
2.
Reparatie of vervanging van onderdelen binnen de garantietermijn leidt niet tot verlenging van de
garantie.
3.
De garantie geldt niet wanneer veranderingen zijn aangebracht, niet-originele onderdelen zijn gemonteerd of reparaties zijn verricht door derden.
4.
Onderdelen die aan normale slijtage onderhevig zijn, zoals het filter, vallen buiten de garantie.
5.
De garantie geldt uitsluitend als u de originele, gedateerde aankoopbon overlegt en als daarop geen
veranderingen zijn aangebracht.
6.
De garantie geldt niet bij schade ontstaan door handelingen die afwijken van die in de gebruiksaanwijzing of door verwaarlozing.
7.
De verzendkosten en het risico van het opsturen van de airconditioner of onderdelen daarvan, komen
altijd voor rekening van de koper.
8.
Schade, veroorzaakt door het niet gebruiken van de geschikte Zibro filters, valt buiten de garantie.
9.
Het verlies van koelmiddel en/of lekkage ten gevolge van ondeskundig aansluiten / losmaken van de
units valt niet onder de garantiebepalingen die op dit product van toepassing zijn.
Om onnodige kosten te voorkomen, raden wij u aan eerst altijd zorgvuldig de gebruiksaanwijzing te raadplegen. Wanneer deze geen uitkomst biedt, kunt u de airconditioner ter reparatie aanbieden bij uw dealer.
