For the 25th Hour Lingerie AW15-16 collection, designer Seda Oturan
revises a set of pieces from previous collections in a minimal,
rational style, through a creative process inspired by the geometrical
purity of mountain rocks and their natural veins. The collection
also includes three new designs, notably a special hybrid bra-top
which underlines the brand’s tendency towards greater integration with
apparel, in a subtle shift towards the ready-to-wear world.
Mesh, velvet and lace are combined in simple but robust shapes. The
signature tone is given by a sewn geometrical texture designed and
created exclusively for this collection.
The link to natural elements has always been a big source of inspiration
for Seda, and the natural world with which we are increasingly losing
contact symbolizes that 25th hour of intimacy that we should treat
ourselves to more often.
