Vocational Standards For Natural Gas Sector
Avrupa Birliği uyum sürecinde ülkemizde bulunan tüm

adaptation to the European Union. The Vocational Competence Authority (MYK), which began its activities in 2006,
aims to develop vocational standards which will support

standards is the natural gas sector. UGETAM has carried
out work as the pilot organisation at MEGEP (The
Vocational Training Development Project), with the aim of

Distributors Association), providing technical support in the
preparation of natural gas vocational standards. The
National Vocational Standards and National Competences
in the natural gas area are the first national vocational
standards and national competences published in our
country. UGETAM has also completed its accreditation
studies within this framework, and has become the first
certification organisation authorised by the Vocational
Competence Authority, with authorisation number YB-001.
All of the documents required from Authorised Natural Gas
Company Employees, in accordance with the directive on
certificates published by the Energy Markets Regulatory
Authority (EMRA), are provided by UGETAM.

The error rates of diaphragm, rotary and turbine-type
natural gas meters that are widely used in natural gas
distribution lines may deviate from the error rate
prescribed when they were produced due to various
types of pollution (such as water or welding pieces)
