nD Festival Fashion Show

Some of Nashville’s most fashionable crowd stepped out for the
finale event of the nD Festival, a 5day fundraiser for The Belcourt
Theatre that celebrated independent film, fashion and music.
Patrons and sponsors arrived
early to have first dibs on the
array of silent auction items that
included a silk organza jacket by
Sylvia Heisel, a Trina Turk satchel,
an Emil Erwin messenger bag,
vintage Ferragamo purse and so
much more.
Patrons, who had prime seating for the fashion show, enjoyed
food from independent Nashville
restaurants – Tin Angel, Mambu,
Fido’s, Jackson’s and Rumba.
Around 7:30 p.m., guests took
their seats to enjoy a film, fashion
and music show. Filmmakers
Kristin Barlowe, James Clauer and
David McClister presented creative and thoughtful 5-minute
film shorts that introduced the
audience to the clothing of each
featured designer.
Designers Eviana Hartman,
Steven Alan and Hannah Jones
and Jamie Frazier were on hand as
models walked the runway.
Musicians Holly Williams,
Nikki Lane and Gabe Kelley creat-
ed the atmosphere for the
evening.
After the fashion show, guests
enjoyed a dessert bar by Cocoa
Tree,
Dunkin’
Donuts,
Fiddlecakes
and
Savarino’s
Cucina along with coffee by Roast,
Inc.; and were able to buy items
right off the runway at the onstage trunk show – with help from
each designer.
Funds raised from the festival
go to support educational programming at The Belcourt
Theatre.
